Penmaenmawr is located on the North Wales coast. It is located between the town of Llanfairfechan to the west, Conwy to the east, the Snowdonia National Park to the south and the Menai Strait to the north west. Penmaenmawr has several advantages: the beach is one of the best in North Wales, and was recently awarded the prestigious Blue Flag; it is but a short walk to the hinterland, less than a mile or so from the town centre finds you within the Snowdonia National Park standing at the foothills of Snowdonia.

North Wales Golf Course is situated close to the town of Llandudno with views of the Conwy Estuary, Anglesey and the Snowdonia Mountains. It is a true links course of Championship standard, hosting the Welsh Team Championships in 1995.
Conwy Golf Club boasts a superb links course, with excellent facilities for both members and visitors. This famous links course, renowned throughout the area as one of the most challenging of its kind is situated at the mouth of the estuary of the River Conwy.
