An attractive ground floor garden apartment, independent & private, adjoining the villa of the owners, 15mn walk to Lorgues. It comprises a large lounge/well equipped kitchen/dining area for 4, 2 comfortable size bedrooms, a shower room + wash basin area, separate WC + washing facilities, a south facing terrace with furniture for outdoor meals with outstanding panoramic views overlooking Lorgues, the valley with mountains beyond (la chaîne des Maures), a boulodrome for a game of pétanque (French bowling), a carport to keep car cool in summer, situated in peaceful cul-de-sac. The swimming pool 12m X 8m is private, allows a 20m swimming curve, has a salt electrolyse system + a barrier with safety child proof gate to the swim/pool enclosure. The apartment contains high quality furnishing, comfortable beds with pocketed springs, a reversible clim + radiant radiators for winter time, and WI-FI internet connection. Additional information about rental rates

  • During low season, there is a special offer of £700/800€ for 1 month but extra for electricity & linen. The nightly rate for low and mid season is 100€ for 2 people, £100/125€ for 3, £120/150€ for 4. Minimum stay is 2 nights - no overnight booking during the high season. Continental breakfast is £3.00/5.00€, English breakfast is £6.00/7.50€. For weekly rental, linen for beds is provided free but it is an extra £7/10€ per person for providing towels & tea towels.
    Outside the high season, we are flexible for arrival/departure day, and the rates are negotiable for late bookings. A £200/300€ cheque is requested to secure a booking, and please note that payment will be accepted,either in Sterlings or Euros,. Half of the remaining value of booking is requested 2 months prior to arrival, and the balance is due on arrival. We request also £200/300€ cheque as a security caution to be returned after inspection. There are no extra charges for cleaning.
  • SPECIAL NOTES REGARDING THE RATES : because of the fluctuation of the exchange rate between £ and €, we have decided to establish the rates in euros. The balance is to be paid preferably cash on arrival.

holiday extra features: It is our concern that you enjoy your holiday at our place - our pleasure and best publicity! We make sure the apartment is spotlessly clean to make you feel at home, comfortable bedding is high on the list with a king size bed (1.60 X 2.00) and pocketed springs mattresses. Lorgues is a friendly small town with character which offers a very popular Provençal market, artisanal shops, 2 large supermarkets. Sports activities are endless in the Var. It can be a gentle stroll from our house, a morning jog on country lanes or long distance rambling amongst woods & hills, cycling is very popular, there is a large swimming pool in Lorgues for real swimming, 4 riding schools nearby, fishing and several canoeing clubs. The Var can also boast to having 14 golf courses, ST ENDREOL, one of the best, only 25mn away. We strongly recommend autumn and winter months with temperatures of 30° and more - that is under the sun on the terrace facing south. See our special winter month offer.

A very peaceful retreat

We stayed at this wonderful property for one week of our honeymoon in the Var. It was perfect. Even through it rained on a couple of the days we were there, it was perfect. The apartment is fully equipped and meticulously clean and the owners, Sergine & David, were so helpful and welcoming that we were comfortable and happy from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The pool is amazing - with a view over the surrounding villages and the hammock is a real treat.

We would recommend this to any friends. It is a truly lovely place to be.

Paradise in the Var

My wife, son (aged 15) and I stayed at Sergine and David's apartment for 2 weeks at the end of July. It really is as wonderful as described on the website and in other reviews.
Both bedrooms are very comfortable and the whole apartment is well equipped and extremely clean. We enjoyed numerous excellent meals, with food bought from the local markets, on the terrace with wonderful views of Lorgues and the mountains beyond.
Lorgues itself is a five minute drive from the apartment with easy parking which meant that we never felt the need to walk. The town has an excellent market on Tuesdays and we visited several times for an early morning coffee and croissant.
Trips to Ste Maxime took approximately 45 minutes and despite the time of year the roads down to the coast were not too busy. However, once you get to the coast in the height of summer then traffic becomes a crawl - that is when its not stopped altogether! This is when you follow Sergine's excellent suggestion of taking the train to Cannes (from Les Arc) and the boat to St Tropez (from Ste Maxime). Both trips are well recommended. There are also numerous local picturesque towns and villages, far too many to visit in a two week stay.
We also spent many days just lazing around the superb pool and with the temperature never dipping below 85f what could be better.
What really makes the stay here is Sergine and David's welcome. Warm, friendly but discrete they are always on hand to help with advice on trips, shopping and most importantly the local wine.
We all agreed that this was one of our best holidays. We very rarely return anywhere twice - this apartment will almost certainly be an exception.

Urlaub in Lorgues

Wir waren im Mai/Juni 2009 in dem Appartement. Es war einfach super. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, sehr gut eingerichtet, der Blick von der Terrasse ist wunderschön. Eine sehr ruhige Lage. Der Pool ist toll und vor allem die Vermieter sind das Beste, was man sich wünschen kann. Mehr als gastfreundlich, besorgt, dass auch wirklich alles stimmt. Und trotzdem, wenn man nicht möchte, auch kein Familienanschluss. Also das ist eine hochgradig empfehlenswerte Adresse. Wir werden, wenn es sich irgendwie ermöglicht, in den nächsten Jahren regelmäßig dahinfahren.
Geeignet für 2-4 Personen (Familie). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im Dorf und in den nächsten Orten (z.B. Salernes).
Wir haben uns sauwohl gefühlt.

Un petit coin de Paradis !

Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable en famille avec nos deux enfants.
Tout est parfait : L'appartement est confortable, très bien équipé, impeccable, la décoration est très agréable. La piscine à débordement est splendide, la vue est imprenable.
Les propriétaires, Sergine et David, sont charmants et très attentionnés. Ils font tout pour le séjour soit apprécié.
Un lieu à recommander à ceux qui recherchent le calme, la tranquilité et l'intimité.
En ce qui nous concerne, nous avons décidé à l'unanimité : nous revenons l'année prochaine !!!!

The accomodaton, infinity pool, hosts and area all matched our highest expections and we would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday to everyone - indeed we have already done so to all the people we have spoken to about our wonderful holiday. The nearby village of Lorgues (walking distance) hosts many events in June and we were fortunate enough to be able to enjoy them. The weather was also excellent so what more could you ask for?
