Excellent base for seeing Istanbul

Our family (2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 10) stayed 4 nights in this lovely appartement in a quiet back street in the Cihangir area of Istanbul.
The appartement is well equiped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.The kitchen has enough equipement if you do not want to eat out every night. Good selection of resturants and cafe's 5 mins walk up the hill. Supermarket also close by. The balcony is a lovely place to relax after a days sightseeing.
The owner was extreamly helpful, and a good source of information. Provided us with maps and an Istanbul transport card. Tram stop 5 mins walk down the hill giving access to all the tourist places. Useful folder in the appartement with all the necessary tourist info.
We used the airport transport offered by CAST which was well organised, and ment we had no problems finding the appartement.
We recommend this appartement , however it is situated on the 4th floor with steep steps, no barrier or hand rail, or lift. The appartement is a duplex, and the stairs inside are also steep with no barrier. Not ideal for famlies with small children. The twin bedroom is very spacious, but the double room is just big enough for the bed!
We would book with them again.
