Villa Padeira is a large, luxury south facing villa set in spacious grounds with breathtaking panoramic countryside, and Atlantic Sea views. The villa benefits from 6 bedrooms including a one bedroom self contained apartment with its own facilities and large private terrace. The villa is furnished to a very high standard, incorporating modern and traditional. It is not overlooked and will appeal to those of you who enjoy the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of the Algarve. 15 - 20 minute drive to the finest beaches and golf courses at Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. 15km from Faro Airport (15 - 20 minute drive). Clay pigeon shooting - 30 minute drive. Tennis Centre 3 minute drive. Quinta da Calma which offers Yoga, Tai Chi, chanting and various holistic treatments - 15 minute drive. We strongly recommend car hire. The nearest village is Bordeira &Santa Barbara de Nexe which have some lovely restaurants and bars (5 minute drive.)

Notes: A beautiful modern kitchen with granite worktops and granite dining table. The utility room is accessed via the kitchen. There are ample terraces as well as the upper level of the villa which is accessed by a small staircase from here you really can appreciate the fantastic views and is great for watching the stars at night. There is a traditional barbecue area on the left hand side of the villa with a terrace and a gas barbecue on the kitchen terrace. The pool area benefits from a madeira style pool house with drinks fridge, loungers etc. The entrance drive to the villa has electronic gates. The villa has air conditioning and heating throughout. plasma TV and sky are available in the lounge, apartment and 2 of the bedrooms. Wireless Internet access. We provide all our guests with a welcome pack. Cots and highchairs can be provided on request. Covered terrace area with comfortable seating and an 8ft American pool table & football table Gated entrance to pool area.

W\e stayed at villa padeira for 2 weeks in August. We were a bit worried as we have 3 teenage kids and thought it might be a bit quiet for them, this wasn't the case at all they absolutely loved it. They had everything they could wish for including a games console which we didn't expect. We took our kids out on a regular basis because they wanted a bit of nightlife and they got a cab home, no trouble at all. The villa is furnished beautifully it really was beyond our expectations. We couldn't have asked for more. The owners karen and Ray were very accommodating and live nearby which we thought was reassuring. Have re-booked for 2008.

CERTAINLY GET'S 'THE WOW FACTOR'

We were met at the airport, collected our cars & off we went. If you like rural, then this is it.
The villa is outstanding, the views - WOW.
The welcome pack - well no words to describe it, never had one so good,
We were 2 families of 3 {17/18 years} + 3 sets of elderly parents {70 +}. Our parents loved it & would not hesitate to go back, but they did find all the steps tiring, so we did wait in them a lot , which they lapped up.
The fridge in the pool house is brill for making cold drinks with ice around the pool, so no need to be up & down villa steps.
Breakfast we had on veranda next to the kitchen, what views !
Lunch or bbq we would have lower down under the large brollies. Absolutely Perfect.
With writing this, i feel i need to return , for sure.
The Best. We have never stopped talking about this holiday

We have just returned from this fantastic villa.
Unfortunately there were only 4 of us, 2 adults & 2 kids. This villa really would be better suited for a crowd.
It is unbelievably spacious & immaculately clean.
The pool was a wee bit too far away from the house,as we are used to going to villas with the pool immediately outside the doors.
But if there were a lot of adults there this would probably be ideal.
The strange layout of the house would suit 3 families, giving you all space.
The area was disappointing to us we would have preferred to have been a bit more central. But if you are looking for a real hide away then this is it.
I will never forget the view from the kitchen window, indeed all the windows.
The pictures in the add do not do it justice.
