With a stunning sea view close to Lilla Värtan, a bay in the Stockholm inner archipelago, lies these houses built in 1928 and 1933. The houses are in a south-west facing on a plot high situated, adjacent to a beautiful forest with marked trails and ruts. Access to a pier just below the property. Located on the idyllic Tyktorpsvägen, which winds its way along the beach front at this part of Lidingös south coast, merely 10 minutes drive from central Stockholm.

Included: The house is rented fully-furnished and is well-equipped with all bed linen, kitchenware, detergents, etc. Usage of sheets and towels are also included as is water and electricity. There is also firewood to be used in the traditional stoves.

Lidingö is an island in the inner Stockholm archipelago, north east of central Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Lidingö offers you space to feel good. On the island you can stroll in nature reserves, swim in the sea, play golf, ski and much more.

Lidingö as a starting point offers relaxation in natural surroundings with the pulse of the city and the rich cultural life within easy reach. Everywhere along Lidingö's beaches are marinas and archipelago boats can take you further out in the Stockholm archipelago with over 30,000 islands, islets and reefs.

Lidingö is an old heritage. Fields with graves from iron age and inscriptions from the Viking period suggests that the island has been inhabited since the 600s. In the 1800's Lidingö got it’s first bridge to the mainland which then made the island to gradually evolve from an agricultural district to a modern residential area with about 30.000 inhabitants.

    The tenants can choose if they want to do the final cleaning themselves, or order it as a service from the landlord. The cost is 3000 SEK for house 36. If the cleaning is insufficient the landlord will do the cleaning at the tenant's expense. A checklist for final cleaning will be provided by the landlord.
  • It is essential that you have holiday or travel insurance. The landlord cannot be held responsible for any personal accident or injury, and loss or damage to personal property during your stay. No responsibility can be accepted for failure of electricity, water, strikes or extreme weather conditions.

This is a really great house - a very quiet location 50 metres from the sea but 10 - 15 minutes from the centre of Stockholm. It's extremely well equipped and the owners could not be more helpful. Highly recommended

We would like to thank our hosts Bjoern and his wife for such a wonderful time in their very comfortable house just outside of Stockholm. Every wish was anticipated and fufilled by Bjoern who made himself available to ius at anytime with helpful hints of where to go from haircuts to cuisine and tips on sightseeing in the beautiful and friendly city of Stockholm.

Our teenage children enjoyed privacy away from their parents on the top floor of the most charming house with outstanding views and unsurpassed local scenic beauty which they took otal advantage of in their early morning walks and jogging regimes. The teenagers also appreciated the new bicycles provided by Bjoern to travel to and fro from Stockholm and the local village complete with charming shops, friendly restaurant and local cinema. After a hard day of sightseeing we were happy to return to the house with such an interesting history, warm ambience and the chance to retreat into family life, relax in a hammock or doze in the sauna.

It was an enjoyable, relaxing wonderful stay which we hope we can repeat in coming years.

Once again thank you Bjoern we enjoyed your company and interest.

Beautiful Island Home with Access to Stockholm!

When we looked for a property in Stockholm, we were looking for a place that was family-friendly, close to the Stockholm transport system, and set in a peaceful surrounding. We were not disappointed!

The house was spacious and fit our party of five adults and four children easily. It was extremely well-kept, clean, and organized. A beautiful house with wonderful views, personality, and class.

The setting looked down on the water and backed up to a beautiful forest with numerous walking trails. Several playgrounds were within walking distance and a dock lies at the bottom of the property.

Access to Stockholm and the Islands was excellent. We would probably recommend a car to drive to the subway, ferries, and stores but one could walk to the bus stop about 10 minutes away. We drove to a cheap parking lot (30kr/24hr) and managed to get into central Stockholm within a half-hour. One can also take the island tram to a dock with many ferries into the archipelago. After long days of sightseeing, the house had a welcome proximity and ability to provide rest and relaxation. While it's not for those who want to be directly in the city, it provided the right blend of city and island life we wanted.

The owner was very accommodating and helpful with restaurant recommendations, traveling tips, and any needs we had.

Overall, our stay was excellent. We would highly recommend it!

Luxury close to the city - and close to nature

We stayed for four nights with 4 adults and two children. We had a rental car from/to Arlanda airport which was perfect. Only 15 min drive into the city!
The house was perfect. A good mix of modern and cozy, with a maritime flair. Lots of space and light. Björn made us feel very much at home, we did not even have to take care of breakfast provisions, everything was already there.
Don't miss the forests and walking/running trails of Lidingö, all within easy walking distance. Well worth it!
We hope we can come back one time ... Highly recommended!
