Good spot to stay in Cape Town

The views from the terrace of this apartment to Table Mountain are superb - no buildings block your view, just a gorgeous sight. We enjoyed a sundowner on the terrace, watching the skateboarders in the school grounds play, and the sun on the mountain. The Rockwell was a good spot to stay in CT because it was close to all the access roads, the waterfront and the city centre (which was within walking distance if you like to walk). The complex was smart, secure, and excellent to have parking included. The apartment itself was beautifully presented and kitted out with kitchen and laundry, a sofa bed for our child, it was comfortable, and would make an ideal longer term stay with nearby mini market and cafes. The only issue is the noise from nearby pubs does filter up easily to the first floor so light sleepers may be affected. The pool isn't heated, and there's also a gym. We found this apartment was good value, matched the descriptions on the internet, clean, and the booking agency Agarve great to deal with.

The Rockwell is in a very central position. The indoor swimming pool is heated and it is possible maybe on the day that you used it, that there was a problem and the heating was off or not to temperature. Both the pool and the gym are freely available for guests use, as is the secure undercover parking bay that we provide for guests, with direct access to the hotel. Best wishes, Barbara Derber
