On the ground floor there is a fully fitted kitchen a dining room, bathroom with electric shower above the bath and a lounge with an open fire.

The first floor consists of 3 bedrooms, one bedroom contains a double bed, the second bedroom two single beds and the third a single bed.

As well as an open fire in the lounge there is oil fired central heating The heating is included in the rent

This traditional croft house, recently modernized and spacious is situated six miles north of Portree, the capital of Skye, which offers many amenities, excellent restaurants and pubs. There are lots to see and do such as mountain biking, kayaking, sea trips, pony trekking or walking/climbing. The Golden Eagle and White- tailed Sea Eagle are found in this locality. The house sits in over a quarter of acre of secure garden and is situated within the Trotternish Peninsula. The famous Trotternish ridge which is one of the finest traverses in the U.K. is in this general area. The Cuillin Range of Mountains which are spectacular and are a mecca for climbers and walkers can be seen most days from the house and are approximately 28kms away Perhaps you may just enjoy travelling round and taking in the breathtaking scenery Historically Skye has an interesting past with lots to interest the historian. Similarly its unique landscape is of great interest to geologists. In a recent newspaper travel article Skye was the only Scottish Island to be featured in their guide to ten of the best Great British Islands Some of the filming of the Sci-fiction movie 'Prometheus' was done in the immediate area.

We've stayed here a couple of times and can't recommend it enough. It's a real home from home, you'll not be short of anything you need. The place itself is tranquil and seems to have it's own micro-climate.

Excellent value for money.

No doubt it won't be long before we're booking again.

We really felt like home in this cozy cottage. Everything was fine and as described. The facilities were excellent and the kitchen was well-equipped, including many useful supplies. The service was quick and good.

The location of the house a bit north of Portree is perfect to explore most parts of the magnificent Isle of Skye. A car is recommended. I definitely would recommend staying there.
