Set in two 18 hole Golf courses, Costa Esuri is minutes away from both beaches and Golf courses in Spain and Portugal. Our properties are next to each other and located in a peaceful setting, manicured open spaces, with well tended gardens, and pools. The residences are accessed via security gates, with its private car parking space. Both offer private landscaped gardens for al-fresco dining, and large secluded rooftop solarium, ideal for barbecues and sunbathing with views overlooking Portugal.
If you are part of a large family or a group, up to 12 individuals, we can cater for you. The benefits of being close to each other as you enjoy your holidays in this hidden jewel of Costa de la Luz.
Golf and natural attractions: Outdoor fans and nature lovers will enjoy a stay in Ayamonte. In addition to the beaches there are also other beautiful spots nearby including magnificent swamps. It is an ideal place to go bird watching as a wide range of different species can be seen. All in all there is something for everyone who like nature, wide & long pristine beaches, golf. All these can be reached in under ten minutes by car from the Villa.
Golfing holidays are very popular in both the Spanish and Portuguese Algarve and there are numerous golf courses along the coast and two brand new courses surrounding our apartment on Costa Esuri. The area offers sunshine and comfortable temperatures all year round and is sure to be a hit with golfers young, old ,novice and expert alike.
Resort Information: Swimming Pool: Please note that the swimming pool on the resort is only available for use in July and August in common with many other pools in the area. The pool itself is closed through the rest of the year but the pool area is still available for sunbathing.
The Costa Esuri is a very quiet resort even in the Summer. It is perfect for a relaxing break but it must be made clear to potential holiday makers that if you want it busy and crowded then this is not the area for you. On the other hand if you are more interested natural beauty, beaches and wilderness then you will be richly rewarded.
A handy tip to remember is that in Spain Sunday is a holiday, with shops (and even some restaurants) being shut, even the big ones. On the other hand most shops and restaurants in neighboring Portugal are open.

Tapas : (Altura) - very famous for its seafood, especially the lobsters, crabs, crayfish and mussels. Nearly always full with both locals and tourists going there. Many famous names on the walls with pictures of football stars especially. They serve cold beer in freezing copper mugs, Good food served well. Expect to pay approx. Eur 20/25 ahead with drinks.
Infante - (Monte Gordo) - upmarket restaurant specializing in sea food. Try the salt cod dishes which are a speciality of Portugal. Good service. Expect to pat Eur. 35+ with wine.

The Costa de la Luz ( the Spanish Algarve) is an unspoilt part of Spain, with a beautiful climate all the year round, miles of clean sandy beaches & interesting architectural heritage. Costa Esuri is situated on the border between Portugal and Spain, making it an ideal base for you to discover both Andalusia and the Portugese Algarve. This new residential development has two golf courses, one of which is a championship course. The pretty fishing town of Ayamonte is close by, with a medieval centre, many old lively plazas and pedestrianized streets full of restaurants, cafes, shops and boutiques. It's picturesque marina is not to be missed. A 10-minute drive are the beautiful long beaches of Isla Canela and Isla Christina, and the E1 motorway is a 5-minute drive away, to take you to either the historic city of Seville (1hour approx) to the East, or Portugal's Algarve to the west. Just across the bridge is the historic town of Villa Real with its twin castles and beautiful promenade.

Golf: If Golf is your passion you are in heaven! Ayamonte is the epicenter of a fabulous region for golfers. Being situated right on the frontier between Spain and Portugal, you can enjoy the superb courses both in the western Costa de la Luz, and the eastern Algarve. It is quite easy, should the mood take you, to play two rounds in one day in two different countries.
The Algarve is synonymous with golf, with a remarkable collection of first class championship courses and amazing resorts strung along the sun-kissed coastline. Within a 30 minute radius there at least a dozen top class courses, and the mild climate means you can enjoy them all year round. Courses in the eastern Algarve include Castro Marim, Quinta do Vale, Quinta da Ria, Quinta da Cima, Benamor and Monte Rei.
The Costa De La Luz is wedged between the Costa Del Sol and Portugal’s Algarve, two of the world’s most developed golfing destinations, but offers a fascinating contrast and which are emerging as great new alternatives for the golfing traveller. Courses on the Costa de la Luz include: two at Costa Esuri, Isla Canela, Islantilla, Nuevo Portil, El Rompido and Dunas de Doñana.
For senior Golfers who are looking for a warmer climate and variety of courses, October to Feburary offers the best priced season. There is a big demand in recent years, from Scandanavian customers in particular. Green Fees can be as low as € 25 per round to as much as €150, depending on the season and part of the country.
Ski: Spain may not presently be in the league of the some of the Swiss, Austrian French and even some Italian resorts however the tide is definitely turning as Spain becomes one of the best value ski destinations in the EEC.
The Aragonese and Catalonian Pyrenees in Northern Spain is the home of most of this countries leading ski resorts although the Sierra Nevada located in the heart of Andalusia in Southern Spain ranks amongst one the most popular. This is the southern most ski resort in Europe has the longest winter season with skiers enjoying snow for almost 5 months a year. For e.g. the 2009/2010 ski season started on 5 December 2009 and finished on 2 May 2010, and lasted 149 days.
The total number of skiers was 701,128, and increasing every season.
The Sierra Nevada are are close to Granada, and a 4 hour drive from Ayamonte.
