This is a villa where everything around you constantly reminds you that you are in the heart of Provence. The view, the smell, the sense..

Villa Vue is an original provincial villa with charm, character, beautiful views and a private swimming pool just 40 min from the famous sandy beaches of the Cote D'Azur. It is totally private and secluded - no other property overlooks the Provence villa, the terrace or the pool. The villa has several lovely sunny and shadow filled terraces and are placed in a large olive grove in several levels. The villa is placed in walking distance from the village - the bakery takes 5 min reach. The villa has a big living room with couches and dining space and an open kitchen. Everything is traditional provencial style. There is a large airconditioned masterbedroom on the first floor and downstairs there are two bedrooms - one with two single beds, and one with a queen size bed. There is two separate bathrooms and an outdoor douche.The villa is non smoking.

The area: The area is popular for rambling with many paths through pine forests and olive groves. Biking is also a big hit - on mountainbike or on racer. France's Grand Canyon, the Gorges de Verdon is 1 h drive. It's nearly half a mile deep and plenty of view points make for a fabulous afternoon out. Lac St Cassien for all watersports is only 25 min drive away. The larger Lac St Croix (also good for watersports) is 45 min away at the mouth of the Gorges de Verdon.

Sandy beaches at Frejus and St Maxime 40 min drive. You can discover and enjoy many pretty medieval perched villages such as Tour Tour and Chateaudouble in the hills nearby.

The idea: We want you to have a wonderful holiday. We provide cotton linen for the beds, cotton towels for all the guests, all necessary kitchen utilities - the basics at least, soap for you and the dishwasher, and the pool is taken care of by our poolman - just to mention a few things. We have a wonderful and very helpful french caretaker couple, who meets you when you arrive and hands over the keys etc.

Claviers is a beautiful small village placed between Callas and Bargemon and with a 20 min drive to Draguignan. The village is surrounded by beautiful tree covered mountains with a traditional provencial flora - olive trees, fig trees and lavender. Claviers village has a cosy town square with a cafe and narrow streets, that wiggles between the old houses. The village has a bakery with a traditional wood fired oven, a post office, a grocery, a bar, a couple of restaurants, a pizzaria and a weekly market on saturdays. Claviers is placed 1 hour drive from Nice. Sister villages of Callas and Bargemon (recently voted one of the prettiest villages in France) have shops, restaurants- 6 alone on the town square in Bargemon - cafes, bank, market days, etc. The larger towns of Le Muy and Draguignan both 20 min away have supermarkets, traditional market days and all other facilities. The Beaches on Cote D´Azur is only 40 min away

Golf: Several nice golf courses within 30 minutes driving

En idyl i den provencalske natur.

Vi har haft en pragtfuld uge i Villa Vue midt i den vidunderlige provencalske natur. Huset er meget veludstyret og i det gode vejr nød vi poolen - når vi ikke var på udflugter til de små byer rundt omkring. Huset kan nok især anbefales til +50.ere og er et ideelt sted at tilbringe en uge sammen med et godt vennepar.
At sidde om aftenen på terrassen med et godt glad rosé i hånden og nyde udsigten over Claviers og landskabet, ja det er simpelthen livet. Markedet i Callas om lørdagen kan særligt anbefales og besøg også¨i samme by olivenolieproducenten Moulin de Callas - som sælger meget andet fra Provence end oliven.

Lovely spot! Super villa - quality and charm

This was indeed a lovely vacation. The house is furnished with everything - good quality in kitchenware and lots of silverware etc. The villa itself is spacious, sunny, light, tastfully furnished, clean, comfortable and well kept. In total it feels
like a home. The house is located very close to the village - which has a weekly market that travels between the neighbouring villages. Furthermore the house has a great view and lots of privacy. It sits in the middle of an former olive orchard with it's own boulecourt and serveral terrasses. The pool is lovely and completely private.

Dejligt hus - skøn natur!

Tak for en dejlig ferie. Villa Vue passer til sit navn - men en utrolig udsigt fra alle terrasser, poolen og det smukke hus. Vi var 4 personer og der var god plads i den smukke stue, i det store masterbedroom ovenpå og de to gæsteværelser nedenunder. Alt var rent og pænt og med fantastisk gode senge! Og tak til det franske ægtepar som hjalp med alt - fra pool til informationer om området. Vores tip: tag til Sellians og lej rideheste!

Rigtig dejligt hus - fantastisk udsigt og by

Vi boede denne sommer i Claviers med vores 3 børn og havde en dejlig, smuk og hyggelig ferie. Huset er smagfuldt indrettet (ikke så sædvanligt), rent og med dejlige møbler. Noget af bedste var udsigten og stemningen af Provence, at spise hjemme eller på torvet i Claviers og cykle eller gå i bjergene. Mine varmeste anbefalinger!

Very delightful house, beautiful view

We stayed at Villa Vue this june and enjoyed it a lot. Sitting at the terrasse in the evening - enjoying the beautiful view over the small village, sunbathing and using the pool, waking in the nearby monutains and sipping rosé at the small restaurant on the village square. The villa itself is not huge, but very cosy and with an excellent kitchen and a huge master bedroom on the first floor.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Romantic Getaway
