Property with 3 gites (separated entry and private terrace) for 2 to 20 persons, between Avignon and Carpentras. Located in the Pays de Sorgues and Comtat Venaissin countryside, this magnificent 'Mas' from the 17th century, totally renovated with style, is set in 6000 sqm of nicely landscaped park where you will find a covered pool built in an old barn, very sunny thanks to the larges sliding bay windows (you will be able to swim all the year in a 24° to 30° water). BBQ/chimney, boules pitch, pool and a pond where a duck family is living. Very well located, the estate is 5 min away from the center of the village and the mall. Very good restaurants close by. You will be able to be very quickly in downtown Avignon and will enjoy all the cultural or leisure activities, discover also the rural markets and taste our local specialties.

Luxurious apartment with south oriented terrace, teak garden furniture, direct acces to the park, pool and BBQ. On the ground floor you will find a 40sq m (kitchen/living room/dining room). On the second floor you will find a large bedroom with 2 single beds (90 cm), a bathroom with bath, and a separated WC. On the third floor you will find a large bedroom with a double bed (190x200) opening on a balcony with view over the property. The bedroom as also a bathroom with shower and WC. Very nice decoration.

The Provence, land of refuge, quiet, sun and amazing scenery!!! Avignon is 15min away with its bridge and its Popes Palace. If you like to go to the theatre, Avignon welcomes a wonderful festival in July. Carpentras, Cavaillon, or Isle sur la Sorgue is 15min away. Isle sur la Sorgue welcomes visitors from all over the world coming for its antiques and its Sunday market. The charming St Rémy de Provence is 30min away with its old center and its Baux de Provence. Gordes, a village built against the rock with its Bories in the heart of the Guarrigue, is also 30min away, and very close by the area known as the Provencal Colorado, Roussillon. One hour away from Nîmes and Arles with their Spanish feel, their bullring, and a memorable Feria. Aigues Mortes, the capital of the Camargue is 1 hour away with its flamingos and the Mediterranean. And finally, 1 hour away from Marseille with its idyllic creeks.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The price of the rental includes all charges like the heating during the winter, the electricity, the Internet access, all the linen (sheets, towels, and facecloth). Renting is from Saturday 4.00 p.m.to Saturday 10.00 a.m. We are asking for a security deposit of € 300 payable on the day of your arrival and be reimbursed on the day of your departure – A rental contract is send to the clients with the amount of the security deposit. We are also asking for a deposit of 20% of the total for the booking – The balance is due on the day of your arrival. We will send a bank account detail to the foreigners in order for them to pay via transfer.
    If the property has not been cleaned, you will be asked for a €80 cleaning fee.

My overall impression ranges between Good and Excellent, because of:
- located in the heart of the Provence: ideal base for sightseeing
- well equipped (we had AC in the bedroom)
- spacious rooms
- heated, covered swimming pool
- large mediterranean garden
- friendly owners

As the holiday home is located in the countryside you absolutely need a car.
