The villa is located amidst one of the most beautiful marinas in the world, having 10 million visitors every year from all over the world, all year round. The villa has only recently been made available for rentals and has air-conditioning and heating. The lounge is bright and airy, having glass doors leading to the terrace and swimming pool, looking out over the marina complex. The terrace has sun all day and is furnished for dining and sun bathing and barbecuing. The kitchen is fully equipped but you will be temped to eat out in the fantastic international restaurants in and around the marina. Sea food is a specialty of the area, with a small fishing village called La Carihuela only minutes walk along the Paseo Maritimo. There is a vibrant night life close by and taxi services on the door step. World famous Flamenco dancing can be seen in local hotels and clubs.

El Pirata is a charming detached secluded villa, minutes from beach, in the Puerto Marina of Benalmadena. There is no need for car. Just 2 minutes walk from sandy beaches and the bustling yacht marina. All the amenities are just minutes walk away - shops, bars, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket, and tourist attractions. Golf courses are within easy reach and the villa is suitable for all age groups. The rooms in the villa are large, bright and spacious. We have a pool, which is heated, table tennis, and sunny patio areas. There is also a pool table and satellite TV. More photos are available on request, please contact us for details. Air conditioning is provided. Sleeps up to 9 with cot. Pool table and table tennis.

Additional information about rental rates

  • If you make an enquiry, you will receive a quotation that will be valid for a limited period. All Transactions are done by bank transfer. In order to secure the booking, 50% of the rental value is required to be paid. This is non refundable in the event of cancellation by the client. The remainder is payable 6 weeks before the start of the rental period. A 1000 euro is required to be given to the agent in order to ensure the property is handed back in good order and the keys are also returned. Easter falls on a different date each year but the price is the early summer rate.
  • The website availability is updated only when a booking deposit has been received. Additional 100euros per week is charged for the pool heating, payable on final payment. We can not be liable for any bank charges, the prices quoted must be deposited in total. It is possible to pay bay sterling (GPB) at an agreed exchange rate.

Local attractions: Within a very close distance are the wide range of golf clubs on the Costa. Entertainment for the family ranges from historic sites such as Granada and Rhonda or the local Aquapark, Marine Centre and Tivoli World Amusement Park. At the Marina there are dolphin trips and a Sea Life Centre. Local markets are interesting and there is a cable car to take you into the mountains. Shops, restaurants, bars and beach are all within easy walking distance. Golf Holidays There are 35 golf courses within an hours drive of the villa. The local Championship courses at Torrequebrada and Parador Malaga del Golf are ten minutes by car. We can arrange daily transport if required.

Ski holidays: Sierra Nevada is just 2 hours away. At our villa you can have a sunny BBQ outside in winter one day and ski the next! The ski slopes of Sierra Nevada are 2,000 metres higher and hosted the 1999 World Championships offering 6 green, 24 blue, 26 red and 4 black slopes. It has artificial snow when necessary and its lifts can carry over 31,000 people an hour. It goes from 2,100 to 3,300 metres in altitude and is the most southerly skiing in Europe. It has excellent road access and huge underground car park.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this lovely villa. Having stayed in many villas in Spain over the years, I would have to say that the location is spot on! We have always hired a car and there was no need as everything is on your doorstep. Although the villa is right in the heart of it all, we still felt that it was relaxed and tranquil and not overlooked. The property had excellent facilities and was very well-maintained. The garden was beautiful and clearly the owner's pride and joy!! Our favourite restaurants were the Argentinian Steakhouse and El Mero( insist on an outside table ) Take a trip on a Catamaran, we picked the British one as it only took 12 people. If you sit at the front and the sea is choppy, be prepared to get drenched!!! Make sure you leave cameras etc. inside the cabin. If you do not have a car, walk to Lidl(5 mins) and get a taxi back, it is very cheap and gets everything in one go! We loved this property and would like to come back.

We spent 2 weeks here and we all thought it was lovely it was walking distance to the shops and restaurants, the villa was very clean and well looked after, the only fault we found was we couldnt use the barbecue as it was filthy. Would highly recommend it loved the villa and the place.

A lovely break!

I booked El Pirata for a 50th birthday celebration last October. Four women who needed a break from hectic lives!

We had a fab time, strolling down to the beach during the day, strolling down to the Marina for a meal and a dance in the evenings. A couple of nights we even stayed in and sat by the pool and put the world to rights with a bottle of wine.

The villa is very private and secure. The rooms are large and the lounge/kitchen area bright, roomy and airy. We didnt want to drive and you dont have to here, everything you need is only a stroll away.

We have booked for October again this year (eventhough we haven't a big birthday to celebrate!) and there are 6 girlies going this time. We cant wait!

Having stayed in the triton hotel last year, this year we decided to look for a villa, so we could save on eating out every night and be a bit closer to the marina. The location was perfect for us, it took just 2 minutes to walk to the marina/ bars/ restaurants/ beach etc and because it's also secluded in it's own (walled) garden, we didn't have any of the noise from the marina at night. The villa was immaculate and beautifully decorated and the garden area and pool were the icing on the cake!
I was slightly aprehensive about the sleeping arrangements as there were 10 of us going and the advert states there are only 3 bedrooms? however on arrival, we were plesantly surprised, the games room, come conservatory was huge and private enough to make an excellent 4th bedroom.
I can't stress how beautiful the villa is, you won't be disappointed! We had an excellent holiday and i'm planning on returning next year.
