Gromo Spiazzi - beautiful ski resort located in the heart of a wide wood - offers you an ancient medieval village, along with a new urban centre with private houses and hotels. Spiazzi di Gromo is a ski resort with a lot of potential facilities: it offers ski runs, tourist tracks, medieval ruins with one of the best preserved Medieval Castle in the province of Bergamo; there tourists may enjoy walking through Orobie mountains or taking a break in the Spiazzi pinewood. Local typical cuisine to taste in different restaurants and also at 1700 mt. high in 'Rifugio Vodala'.

Summer:
Ideally located for the lakes of Northen Italy, Lake Iseo, Como and Garda. Easy day trips to Venice, Verona and Milan. Many walks local to the house in addition to Presolana. Visit the historic old town of Bergamo. Local town of Clusone has a market every Monday. Visit the waterfalls of Valbondione a very short distance from the house. For those who enjoy a bit of shopping the Orio Centre in Bergamo is the largest shopping mall in Italy.
Ski:
On the mountains surrounding the villages of Lizzola and Valbondione the snow lasts for many months a year and always in good conditions. The slopes are suitable for all kinds of skiers: alpine skiers who come up to the top of the mountains and cross country skiers, who stay on the slopes at the bottom of the valley. Valbondione is therefore a complete ski resort; it can host high level ski events and thanks to its geographical position, at the feet of a rocky mountain up to 3.000 metres, it offers many snowfields as great environment for ski practice. 2 chairlifts, 3 ski lifts, 2 black runs, 2 red runs and 2 blue runs. Lifts start at 1.250 meters up to 1.915 meters. 30 km of runs and 1 ski school, included in the Orobie Ski pass area. Snow conditions are always good thanks to the cold temperature and ski runs can satisfy even the best skiers. Lizzola is a typical mountain village and offers good restaurants, pubs and shops.
