Tudor House, is a historical house with a modern and spacious interior. A lovely family holiday home less than a 5 minute walk from the award winning beaches and all this thriving town has to offer. Completely redecorated with new carpets and furnishings throughout, the house has 2 large reception rooms, decorated with a light and modern feel. Includes TV/ DVD/ Video/ mini HIFI. The dining room sits 12 people and is conveniently situated off the kitchen, which overlooks the large courtyard garden, ideal for alfresco dining, barbecues, taking the sun. Garden furniture and BBQ are provided. 6 Bedrooms - 1 large family bedroom, beautifully decorated in blue and white, which has a double bed and single bed, plus plenty of room for a travel cot (provided), 2 spacious double rooms, 2 twins and 1single room. Kitchen - generously equipped with 2 electric ovens, gas hob, kettle, dishwasher, 4 slice toaster, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee maker, etc.

In a quiet location in the centre of this Regency seaside town. A stones throw from the beach and the elegant promenade for strolling and taking in the sea air. Close enough to enjoy all the attractions and public houses, cafes and restaurants.Less than a minute from the highly acclaimed and award winning beaches, patrolled by lifeguards in peak season. The popular Victorian pier offers rides and entertainments for children of all ages. There are wonderful children’s play areas, which your children simply won’t want to leave. Along the length of the seaward edge of town is ‘The Den,’ a large open space with lawns, flower beds and tennis courts. Adjacent to this is the elegant promenade for strolling and taking in the sea air. The estuary side (or Back Beach as it is called by the locals) is a beautiful part of this town. Watch the sunset over the moored boats with the historic village of Shaldon in the distance.

Tudor House is a supurb spacious property close to all amenities in Teignmouth Devon. There were 11 adults and our 3 year old grandson who had a brilliant time. The house has two lounges, so while the little one watched his DVDS the adults could watch the TV in the other lounge.Our Son, Daughter in Law and Grandson used the perfectly located train a lot to explore. The only time they used the car was to go to Paignton Zoo. The rest of us are bikers and explored Devon and Cornwall,returning every evening to enjoy a pint or two at the pub across the road or a meal at nearby resturants. We will certainly return to Tudor House again, a great time was had by all.

A real find

I found this holiday home on this site quite by chance and chose it primarily based on the fact that the sleeping arrangements suited the four couples and two single people coming on the trip and it was within our price range.

Having been less than discerning we really did hit the jackpot – the house is fantastically spacious the rooms are beautiful and it is incredibly well equipped.
The little courtyard is perfect for BBQs and there is plenty of room for everyone to make themselves useful in the kitchen.

With two living rooms we had plenty of room and there was always a bathroom free when we required one.
Also the position could not be any better – we were 2 minutes from the beach and within throwing distance from the centre of town. You can easily walk to the co-op for shopping and parking is close and reasonable at the train station (£17.50 for the week).

Lunch from Michaelmas Goose is great and getting the ferry over to Shaldon is well worth it as it is so beautiful.
If you want a chilled out holiday by the sea in the UK this is the perfect place and the perfect house to stay in.

Fantastic Family Property

We all had a wonderful stay at Tudor House. We consist of four families in total, and this property and location met all of our needs. We would recommend this property to anyone with or without a car (train station is a minutes walk away and there is a good bus service around the area). Property was clean, spacious and with three bathrooms meant we did not have to have a rota like we have had to in the past. Thank you for use of this house, we would love to book again but we are a growing clan and will need a further four beds for our next holiday. Cannot recommend highly enough.
