A Most Memorable and Enjoyable Trip
Josie, thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your home and the blessing it was to meet all of your friends. Firstly, thank you for having Estrela prepare the food for lunch upon our day of arrival, it was wonderful. Also please thank Victor and Laudalina for meeting us at the airport and so graciously taking us into their home the first day they met us. We were overwhelmed with their generosity and willingness to share all of their friends and food with us. It was the start to a perfect vacation.
After that day it just got progressively better, Estrela would make us a wonderful meal for Furnas and also at home, where we got to meet her daughter as well, but in addition to that she also invited us to her home for drinks and delivered us tea and soup for our trek up the mountains. The most memorable part of our vacation was definitely the people that we met who will forever leave us with wonderful memories.
Your home is exactly like it was in the pictures, very clean with all the amenities from hair dryers, curling irons, and toiletries to Martini Glasses and full TV and Internet connections.
Sao Miguel is beautiful, so I recommend to all your guests that they will need a full day for every part of the Island because there is so much to see. I also recommend Estrela to cook for them because she is an awesome chef.

You are two beautiful, fun and full of adventure couples. Your supper friendliness and willingness to experience and embrace the culture, left all of your new found friends here longing a return visit!
Laudalina and Victor feel privileged and blessed to have met you, and are very proud to have shared a very much enjoyed social gathering with you. As for Estrela, she gets tear eyed when she talks about all four of you. She shared with me many special details, and how much she and her family loved your company. She is waiting for your friend to come over and stay a while so she can teach her the Azorean cuisine?
I am pleased to know that you enjoyed the welcome meal we provided, as well the subsequent meals Estrela prepared for you. The Furnas all day trip we arranged, orchestrated
and catered by Estrela also met and exceeded your expectations!
I am further pleased to know that you found the home to be as described and well equipped. I am always looking for ways to improve, and as part of this vision, we are now on location constructing a private pathway from the back of the house that leads all the way to the ocean. We are also very proud to have since your visit, put in place private parking for our guests.
