This furnished ground floor apartment is located in the popular residential area of Woodlands where the gated drive backs onto the main road. It is within 10 minutes from Maurice Bishop International Airport and less than 5 minutes away from the famous white sands of Grand Anse beach. In addition there are a number of supermarkets and shopping centres in the Grand Anse area.

The property sits in two acres of land with all round fencing providing additional security; the font is mostly lawn grass and local flowers, and to the rear, populated with seasonal bearing fruit trees.

This self-contained apartment comprises a main bathroom,a double bedroom and a single bedroom with onsuite, plus a further double bedroom. The living area includes an open plan kitchen, dining room, and comfortable lounge. Outside, on the balcony is perfect for al fresco dining on the warm Caribbean evenings, or in privacy while you sip cocktail or a shot of rum

GREAT ACCOMODATIONS AT SHIRLEY AND RAY'S

Our taxi "Dave" was waiting for us at the airport. We were gracefully welcomed by Shirley and Ray with a fabulous meal awaiting for the two of us and a few Carib. The appartment is most comfortable and spacious the grounds are beautiful the fresh fruit are marvelous. Our friends (a party of two) arrived the next day and recieved the same warm welcome from Shirley who prepared another large meal for the four of us. This was quite unexpected.The appartment is central to Grande Anse and St Georges. Dave (Dave Tours) lives accross the road from the appartment and is well known by Shirley and Ray.We had Dave drive us everyday .Great hosts,great accomodations, great holiday.We will recommend this appartment to anyone going to Grenada.Thank you.

WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY

Many thanks for allowing us to use this wonderful apartment for our holiday in Grenada.
If, like us you enjoy being in the middle of true Grenadian life then this apartment is ideal. Everything we could possibly have needed was catered for and on arrival we were met by the owner, Shirley, who had very kindly left us a lovely meal and stocked the fridge with enough food and drink to keep us going until we went to the supermarket the next day, she also brought us the most delicious fresh fruit from her garden during our stay.

All linen and towels were spotlessly clean and changed regularly and the kitchen is exceedingly well equiped, the whole of the apartment is huge.

Thankyou so much for a most enjoyable holiday and thanks especially to Shirley for being such a friendly person and for giving us lots of information on the lifestyle in Grenada and making getting around simple for us.

A TRUE GRENADIAN WELCOME!

We only stayed for one week but wished we stayed longer. Ms Shirley welcomed us on our day of arrival & showed us around her large 3 bed apartment. Plus to add on to our welcome we were greeted with a taste Ms Shirley home cooking of a yummy BBQ chicken, rice & potatoe salad.

The House is set in a very green lush surroundings (fruit & veg trees) which gives a lovely view & a very good breeze all day long. Also Ms Shirley shared some juicey mangos & fruits from her land. The apartment had that spaceous homely feeling which we felt at home quickly. We didn't drive & it was easy to get the bus (to Grand Anse/town) at the end of Grand Anse Valley which takes a 5-8 mins walk down the road. Along the way you will find a very friendly Bar called "Andys Soup Bar" which is open from morning till late. Andy's provides food, drinks, music & even Digcel/Lime phone top ups! As two young ladies we felt safe being in the area & felt safe travel too.

Grand Anse Shopping area it self is a 5 min drive away & Grand Anse beach is 5 min walk from the shopping area (just ask anyone they will show you). We found a really good gym (Grand Anse) called Excel Plaza which holds a cinema, shops, spa etc.. if you need a Internet Cafe there is one 5 mins down the road from the Excel Plaza in the computer shop (again just ask).

My friend & I can't wait to return to Grenada when we do just hope there is space at the "Woodlands", thanks again to Shirley & Ray for having us at your "Home from Home" apartment.

BEAUTIFUL SETTING

Our first visit to Grenada and what a lovely place to stay. Ray and Shirley were there to greet us on arrival and she had kindly made some food for us that was waiting in the fridge, along with the essential cold beers. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped and set in gorgeous gardens. The cooling breezes around the verandah were always welcome in the heat of the day or on the very warm evenings.
The air conditioning in the bedrooms was brilliant and I have to say the shower in the main bathroom was one of the most powerful we have come across in the Caribbean.
We rented a car from Indigo rentals but also took a full day tour of the island with Dave Tours and Taxis. Dave was a really great tour guide and driver and took us all around the island showing us all the points of interest and I would recommend that if you stay at the apartment you book a tour with Dave as he only lives across the road.

If you are looking for well appoimted and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting then you can't go wrong with the Woodlands apartment.

AMAZING SUMMER STAY

My stay at the apartment surpassed my expectation and I definitely looking forward in staying at the apartment on my return visit to Grenada.

The apartment is ideal for the individual or family that appreciates hug rooms. The apartment is very spacious which is reflected in the size of kitchen, living room, dining room, rest room and separate laundry room. The kitchen is out fitted with all appliances that a master chef would require.

I especially enjoyed mornings on the balcony enjoying freshly picked fruits provided by the landlord from the grounds of the apartment. The grounds of the apartment are also a pristine settings for the BBQs. I held many during my stay, to which my family and friends felt comfortable of the balcony to a very relaxing and smoothing spice island afternoon.

Another star goes out to the landlord and her husband for providing fresh linens on an ongoing basis or as requested. The landlord was always willing to help or assist when needed they are very friendly people. The apartment is gated and very protected and safe.

The apartment is within minutes of all the local restaurants, clubs, beaches and attractions which is just another reason that makes it a win win for prospective visitors

This apartment is comparable to any of the luxury villas and apartment on the island and I recommend it wholeheartedly. I look forward in staying at this apartment on my return visit to Grenada, it would be an absolute delight. Five Star!

LOVELY "HOME AWAY FROM HOME"

Thank-you to our gracious hosts! We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was clean, spacious, had good beds, and the air conditioned bedrooms were great for getting a good night's rest.

We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious meal provided for us the evening of our arrival. The fresh fruit raised on the grounds was an added bonus! The hosts were available when we had questions or needed something. We definitely recommend this place!

We were not far from town but it was nice to retreat to this country home for family time. The veranda was my favorite place to sit and enjoy the beauty of nature.
