Four o’clock run goes right by the parking lot of this unit. Literally ski to the door. Four o’clock is a fun beginner run that makes an excellent run where everyone can ski home. Or ski down for lunch! The new Snowflake Lift is 100 yards away and provides immediate access to Peaks Eight and Nine. This unit overlooks Four o’clock run right at the bottom of a great sledding hill.
BRECKENRIDGE HAS FOUR MOUNTAINS! Breckenridge boasts some of the most diverse terrain of any Colorado ski area with four mountains to explore. Plenty of beginner and intermediate runs, along with a world-class ski school and daycare center will delight kids and families, while the 40% expert terrain should challenge the most accomplished skiers. There are even a number of "extreme skiing" runs that can be accessed via some hiking. Breckenridge caters to snow-boarders with three terrain parks featuring half pipes and numerous jumps. Vail Associates now owns Breckenridge and even more improvements are planned.
NOT JUST SKIING Breckenridge is not limited to just downhill skiing. There is a Nordic ski complex at Breckenridge and at nearby Frisco. There are also numerous backcountry ski trails for all ability levels. There are two ice rinks in town, numerous shops and restaurants, and art galleries. Numerous ski shops rent everything!
