Great for newcomers to Turkey

As a complete novice to Turkey, its people and culture, this holiday was one of discovery and was made extremely fulfilling by the excellent detail and information given by owners Jackie and Phil on the phone when booking, and on arrival in our Welcome Pack.
We couldn't have wished for a better start to our holiday - a lovely clean, bright and well-maintained apartment with everything we would need for a self-catering holiday. One of the best things about it were the grounds and pool. The information on what to do and where to go, including maps, phone numbers and guides was really helpful and informative. We are those holidaymakers who don't plan before we go - which can sometime lead to disasters - but we were given a wide selection of choices and made the most of them. My favourite being a visit to the weekly market in Fethiye centre and seeing, smelling and tasting all the fabulous Turkish food and spices before visiting the local fish market a short stroll away down the backstreets.
The people, the weather, the food and places to visit around Calis were all exemplary. We were made very welcome by all the local restaurants who were keen to attract our custom, but didn't hassle us.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and am looking forward to returning in 2010.
