COZY DESIGNER INTERIOR CONDO BY THE BEACH (HIBISCUS VILLA)

Now back home in Cyprus but what a fantastic holiday to Malaysia and Thailand. We stayed at Sharon and Leslie's cozy home apartment for 10 weeks (greedy I know). It was lovely and very cool after humid and hot outside temps. We were very comfortable and had all facilities including local shop in the complex for basic needs. Prior to our arrival, we were given every bit and more information about Miami Green and surrounding villages. This was our first long stay in Far East after our retirement and loved it. We really loved the local beach (breathtaking and just 5 mins walk) and got to know Raja and Mary who own the beach cafe at Miami Beach (wonderful curry with pancake and seafood and lots other choice, including burger and chips, lol. Also the pool at Miami Green is fantastic and biggest we have ever seen on past hols (feel you deserve and can eat another portion of Chicken Sate or Nasi Goreng after 20 lengths) and also made good use of the Jacuzzi. As if that were not enough, we also given a complimentary card to use at the close by Hydro Hotel for evening entertainment and 50% discount on all food and drinks, how good is that! They say you cannot walk into Batu Feringgi or the other way to Tanjung Bungah but I did it every day and yes, the roads are a bit scary at first but you do get used to it. We did not hire a car or scooter as buses are so cheap (just MYR1.40 (25p) into Batu Ferringhi) and frequent (every 15 mins). As we were on an extended stay we wanted to eat in the apartment quite often and were pleasantly surprised to find a huge Tesco supermarket at Tanjung Tokong (10 mins and MYR2.00 on the bus (40p). We took some trips to Penang Hill, Monkey Beach (in Raja and Mary's boat with fantastic BBQ laid on) and into Geogetown, across ferry to Butterworth and a visit Orangutan Island. All in all a great holiday and a great apartment to stay in. The filtered water system was also a big plus. I cannot remember it all but we have already booked for next year so you can see how much we love the apartment, Miami Green, Batu Feringgi and Penang. Not to mention the complete attention given to us by Sharon & Leslie. Thank you, Val & John Merrey.

I have been staying here for quite some time. most of the time are business trip.

the location is just nice for me a busy business lady, after long tiring day, i just wanna get out of the congested town area. here is the middle point from tanjung bunga to batu feringgi. you can hang out in any launge or cafe easily when you are bored.

the beach is even nearer, about 5 minutes drive. Batu Feringgi is a long beach and the sand at here is fine and nice.. sun bath... something i love on sunday morning.

the facility in the house is everything i need. Tv, air con, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. and the most important thing is clean and tidy!

lastly, what makes me come back is the friendly house owners whom a couple who always care of what a guest needed. You feel always being taken care of.

Yes, I will be back in my next trip.. if it is not fully booked. As I knew it is a hot cake in town now..

so if you are planning to get a home stay in Penang, and have the same likes as me, this place is the best choice.
