The apartment comfortably sleeps a total of 5 adults/children

The duplex holiday apartment has two bedrooms (one with double bed and the other having two single beds) both with quality comfortable sprung mattresses to give that restful sleep required on holiday. There is an additional large folding bed. The upstairs bedroom is accessed via a feature spiral staircase leading to the master suite with en-suite bathroom. This room has a beautiful vaulted beamed ceiling which adds to the theatre of the building. There is also a shower room downstairs with power shower, WC and washing area. The lounge has digital TV on a wall mounted flat screen and a X-box which also doubles as DVD player and Wi-Fi. There is an iPod docking station. The kitchen is open plan to the lounge and has ceramic hob, oven, coffee maker, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is ample seating in a style befitting such a beautiful building.There is a private tennis court, for residents use and, private access gate onto the beach for a beautiful walk along the coastline.
About Mary Williams

The apartment has been in our family since 2006. We chose this as the area is lovely and there is lots to do for family and couples alike. The children love playing tennis at Ward Park Tennis Club in Bangor (Sat mornings 10am-12pm and July/August from 9am-1pm) or going on the swans at Pickie fun park. A new 50m swimming pool will open in Bangor next year.

Why Mary Williams chose County Down

The property has a nostalgic feel as it is approached by a sweeping staircase. The apartment itself is extremely cosy and warm, especially in winter. The village has everything you need including a well-stocked spar shop/post office, a unique but reasonably priced wine shop, 2 restaurants and a friendly local pub which also serves food. Drive a couple of miles along the coast to Donaghahdee to enjoy even more local shops and restaurants.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is in an idyllic setting beside the beach and sea. A highlight is to enjoy a morning walk along the beach/coast taking in the fresh sea air and returning to the apartment for brunch (usually an ulster fry!). On a clear day, it is possible to see Scotland from the beach.

"our stay was perfect everthing we needed was in the apartment,and it was spotless,we were able to have our grandchildren to stay over that was a bonus...............we had a lovely stay and we will be returning"
