Overview

Tamarindo Condo Rental Photos and Description

Town Home, Villa, 2 Master Bedrooms , 2 Master Baths

Our beautiful condo located on the first floor by the banyan tree and the pool. The condo is professionally furnished and appointed, richly finished in granite, stone and teak. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and serving. There is a large gas BBQ in the kitchen atrium. All linens, towels, and maid service are provided. This is a premium condo located in the best part of Tamarindo, Playa Langosta.

We are just a short minute walk to the beach down a tree lined park path. Our beach opens to tide pools with mild surf. A five minute walk to the south brings you to the estuary where the big waves break. Five minutes by car and you are at the beginner surfers beach at Playa Tamarindo.

The Playa Langosta Beach area is the southern part of Tamarindo. It's pretty quiet in Langosta but close enough to Tamarindo beach to be convenient.

This is a nice area with many multi-million dollar homes in the area. There are stores and shops nearby for all you needs. This is not the tourist trap area of Tamarindo. It's just really nice.

The patio opens directly to the pool and the banyan tree that our complex was built around. The pool is 100 feet long, great for laps or just an easy swim. The fourth floor sundeck has sweeping views of the ocean, hills and the town of Tamarindo.

The condo sleeps six comfortably with two master bedrooms and bathrooms.

Every outdoor sport is available. Surfing, kayaking, atving, zip line, rock climbing, white water rafting, golf, sailing, snorkeling and scuba diving are all in Tamarindo and nearby.

This is a great condo and a fantastic destination!

About Jeremy and Joan Jacobson

We are from So. California and have two kids. Someday soon we will retire to Costa Rica.

Jeremy and Joan Jacobson purchased this condo in 2005

Why Jeremy and Joan Jacobson chose Tamarindo

We love Tamarindo and Costa Rica because of its beauty, the people, and the natural state of the country.

What makes this condo unique

Just off our patio is a beautiful old Banyan Tree. The builders of our complex went to great lengths to save this treasure. We are so glad they did. It is home to two iguanas, birds, squirrels, frogs. and a variety of visitor each day. Relax on the patio and you will entertained by this fascinating mini ecosystem. The iguanas will be waiting for some left over fruit.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Sorry for the late reply. All was great in CR. We started with our tour with Caravan Tours which was excellent. Tortegurera was the highlight. We had to travel 1 hr. 45 min. by boat to get to the lodge and was very enjoyable. We also went up to Los Chilies which is right close to the Nicaragua boarder. Arenal and Los Poas was also nice but cloudy in Arenal. We left the tour at the Marriott which is just 20 minutes from your condo. The shuttle driver actually took us to Tamirando, stopped for groceries, picked up keys and took us to your condo. So that was worth a giant tip. Very hassle free. Enjoyed your condo very much. Found the walk into town very hot but would stop off and have refreshments on the way. We loved being at the beach at watching the tide come in and watching people stranded as they couldn't cross the water. We also went up to Playa Conchos by cab just for a change. After Tamirando we went to Manuel Antonio which took most of the day but very enjoyable. Stopped and watched the alligators under the bridge near Jaco and went into Jaco for a bit. The Parador Hotel was very nice with a beautiful secluded beach close by. Enjoyed Manuel Antonio Park and the swimming was wonderful with the water calm and sooo warm. All in all we saw alot of CR. Two nights in San Jose was enough since they didn;t recommend leaving the hotel after dark. I don't think we will be returning to CR since we have been there twice and there is so many places to see. I must say all the people we met were wonderful and the locals are very nice people who we felt we could trust. I am so glad we had you as a contact and wish you well. We may get back to Florida soon since it is such a nice state to visit and get away from the cold. Take care, Cheers,

Florence and Norm

Casa Bella Tara: Outstanding vacation

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this lovely condo during the first week of March and had a wonderful time. The condo was well equipped and we didn't miss anything. You don't even have to bring your beach towels. This place has all you need for a relaxing time; super short distance to a small grocery, a piscina big enough for it's purpose when you are too lazy for the 5 minutes walk to the beach.

The beach is amazing, perhaps especially for the surfers. But the lagoon connected to the sea has no waves and has shelters for the sun, if needed.

Also the condo is located close to the town of Tamarindo ( about 15 min walk) and you don't need a car to get around, which was perfect for us.

The sun set at the top deck must be experienced, while listening to the monkeys from the neighborhood. And while talking about animals, we can't forget the iguanas coming visiting every morning to get breakfast. They love bananas!! What an exotic holiday. We hope to be back and we can strongly recommend Casa Bella Tara, at La Esquina.

Casa Bella Tara: a quiet, magical & luxurious paradise!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and our two daughters stayed here in August & simply had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the beautiful setting, the gorgeous kitchen & lovely condo décor, and most especially the pool, terrace and banyon tree with super iguana neighbors, who we still miss! The beach you walk to is amazing, and Tamarindo is just a fantastic town with amazing expanses of beach, sunset cruise boats, shopping and fabulous restaurants. And I just can't say enough about the pleasure and ease of working with Jerry and Joan. We have so much gratitude and are very pleased to recommend this as your family retreat, or romantic getaway; you will not be disappointed with Casa Bella Tara at beautiful La Esquina. We hope to return some day! PURA VIDA!!!

Owner's Response: Jerry and I are so pleased your family enjoyed your stay at Casa Bella Tara. We have tried to make our condo as comfortable as possible so our guests can relax, enjoy and have no worries. It’s our cosy piece of paradise and we want to share our love for Costa Rica with others. Thank you for feeding the “neighbors” They appreciate a good meal. We hope you will visit Costa Rica again and keep us in mind. Warmest Regards, Pura Vida Joan and Jerry

Costa Rica Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time in Tamarindo and our stay in this home was magnificent. The home is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. A beautiful kitchen and outdoor BBQ area plus two very comfortable master bedrooms made our vacation very relaxing.

We surfed every morning and enjoyed the awesome pool in the afternoon. A short drive to all shops and restaurants made it very convenient for the whole family. This is definitely our place to stay when we return to Costa Rica.

This condo really is in the perfect spot, just far away enough from Tamarindo but close enough. I loved being on the main floor just steps from the pool. This condo is well stocked and equipped to handle everyone from singles, to families, towels, dishes, fancy to plastic. I was very impressed by the maintenance crew, how fast they responded to the few issues we had, they were in and out. We felt very safe here at night you see the security walking around checking it seemed every hour all night. The pool was always clean, we saw regular maintenance every day, the staff are friendly to. If you want to rent a car I suggest you arrange it before you leave. Expensive right in Tamarindo, but you can take a cab for $5.00 to anywhere in town. It is in within walking distance, but we found it a little to hot for walking. In my opinion avoid Lilys restaurant right across the street, expensive and not so good food (that's the only place) because we found the food everywhere else here FANTASTIC, but it was also nice to have that choice to stay in and have a bbq at the condo. I really miss the place already, hard to leave +35 paradise and come home to -35...... Knowing we will go back helps, and we would recommend this place.

Costa Rican Adventure

  • 5 of 5

Our trip to Costa Rica was definitely our best vacation ever. The condo in Playa Langosta exceeded our expectations in appearance, amenities and cleanliness. It was very easy to get around Playa Longosta and Tamarindo as we spent most days on the beach surfing and enjoying the beautiful sunset. We rented a car and were able to make a day trip to the Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna Waterfall. We also took Jerry and Joan up on all their wonderful suggestions from adventure tours, different beaches to visit, where to shop and which restaurants they like to frequent. All of those suggestions were wonderful. I am craving Banana Cream Pie!!! My children had a fabulous time and cried when we had to leave. They got up every morning excited to feed the three iguanas outside the back door. They even named the three and called for them whenever we were in the condo. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends and family and hopefully we will return again soon! Thank you Joan and Jerry for everything!

Nice condo in good area

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time in Costa Rica, and enjoyed our stay at this Condo. It was a little bit dark, but it had everything we needed. The dryer broke when we arrived, but the owner did his best to get it fixed or replaced. Unfortunately it didn't happen til after we left. Overall a good experience. It was a good value for the price that we paid.
