Ideally suited for seaside pursuits, golf, Bayeaux, Normandy Landing beaches, WWll museums and cemeteries. Close to local harbour, excellent seafood restaurants, shops etc.
Stunning coastal position down secluded fuscia-lined driveway with breathtaking sea views. Paved entrance to house with timber terrace, lawned garden and outside seating. Lovely sandy beaches on doorstep perfect for sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and kitesurfing. Also golf, tennis riding and good local restaurants nearby. Many sites of interest including Norman churches and cathedrals, Bayeaux Tapestry (1hr), Mont St Michel (2hr), Normandy landing beaches, WWll cemetaries and museums within easy driving distance. Supermarket and amenities 10 mins drive, local shops only 5 mins. The house is 110km from Caen and 30km from Cherbourg.

The house is comfortably furnished with an awareness of the practicalities of life by the sea. A heated outside shower has been fitted and decking laid to the back door/laundry. It is a fabulous destination for all ages, at any time of year. Internet access available.
Reville has a butchers, bakers and small shop for basic supplies. St Vaast-La-Hougue has shops and amenities, a good choice of restaurants and cafes, a supermarket, bank, post office, marina etc. Fresh fish and the famous local oysters can be bought either direct from the boat or from one of the impressive fish mongers. The town is also home to Gosselin's select food shop emporium with impressive wine cellar.
Indoor tennis available with outdoor pay-and-play courts at "La Hougue" peninsula on the outskirts of the town.
The unusual 17th century Vauban tower on the Isle de Tatihou (with maritime museum, cafe and bird reserve) can be reached on foot at low tide or by amphibious craft in season.
Quettehou has a butcher, bakers and excellent large supermarket with fresh fish counter.
Barfleur is a charming fishing port with historical heritage and very good Cafe de France restaurant.
Valognes is a beautiful market town of historical interest with an open air pool. Weekly street markets are held in all the local towns.
