Elegant Lake George Home/Estate with room for 1 to 44 guests. Beautiful sunset views, swimming pool, and lakeside tranquility 12 minutes from Lake George Village (NO DIRECT LAKE ACCESS ON THE PROPERTY ITSELF but a 23' boat dock may be available for extra rental at $500/week only a 4 min. drive away).
Lake swimming is available at Million Dollar Beach (10 minute drive). Lake George Village and its surrounding resort vacation attractions (including Great Escape) are only a 12-minute car ride away.
Two original barns on premises, newly-renovated cottage, 16 x 32 foot pool with diving board, large deck, two gazebos, fish pond, outdoor bar/deck area, and full-size clay tennis court.
Gorgeous lake view (please note that THERE IS NO DIRECT LAKE ACCESS ON THE PROPERTY ITSELF). However, a 23' boat dock with lake swimming may be available for $500/week at nearby private association picnic spot (3-4 minute drive away). This property can accommodate from 1 to 44 guests (where up to 24 guests can sleep in beds and 20 additional guests can sleep on 3 full or queen-sized sofa beds or futons). Full or partial rental available-no prom groups without adult supervision.
This unique property was first developed in 1845 as the home and farm of Mr. Walter Gunn, the owner of the entire Cleverdale peninsula. Around 1919, it was sold to Dr. Fred Fielding, a physician and gentleman farmer, who ran a dairy farm and an apple orchard on the property. The barns have been carefully restored and received the Chapman Historic Museum's Historic Preservation Award in 1998.

The living quarters were well furnished with comfortable beds and new appliances. Our family really enjoyed the togetherness the large family room of the barn allowed while also letting each family have their private space. We shared the pool and had a wonderful time mingling with another family using the large house as their reunion headquarters. The location was ideal as a jump off place for day trips to local tourist attractions and nature hikes. We rented a boat at a nearby marina and were able to keep it in the slip at the marina and have 24 hour access to it and the delightful scenery and adventures on Lake George. The property owners were readily available and went out of their way to assist in any way possible to assure our comfort."
