We had a great stay in the apartment. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped. The surrounding area is perfect for eating out, shopping and going out in the night. And the historical centre is just a short walk away. We spent a wonderful in Istanbul: the appartment is ideally located, in a very central part of town, a few hundreds meters from the Galata Tower, very lively both during day and night time. Yet the appartment is calm. It is also very large, with a wonderful old wooden floor. We were 7 adults. We would definitely go back on a next trip to Istanbul."
I am traveling very often to istanbul, because of my work. And this time I took also my family. The flat is big central and very clean. The bathroom is big. We were with 6 persons in it. The istiklal street is just 1 minute. With a lot of restaurants.Furnitures as well as choice of quality of bedding fabrics and knowledge of the staff made our family vacation truly an unforgettable one..definitely a right choice.
We are impressed by the flat and hospitality of Sophia and her husband.
The flat is on the ground floor , no steps and very nice cool in that month. It is big and you feel really home. Our children made friends with the neighbors children...and shopping was so easy with nice small shops in the near of the house. Thanks to the help of Sophia we enjoyed every day in istanbul. Great place, we me and (parents and grandparents) can recommend it and will be again our choice....
Although close to restaurants and shops, the apartment is in a poor, run down neighborhood - local flavor was entertaining, but dirty streets. We never met or saw the owner. A housekeeper who did not speak any english met us to give us a key and after that we had no customer service. We stayed in August, which was very hot, and when we opened the windows, we all were bitten by mosquitos. We had a turkish speaking person call the housekeeper to ask for a fan for one of the bedrooms and we never got it. Also, the shower leaked so the bathroom floor was constantly wet. And the bathroom light burned out but again no one to contact who spoke English. We are experienced travelers, but overall would not recommend this unit.
The flat has a wonderful decoration and its really big. The kitchen has everything, you needed. A lot of small shops around. Very nice neighbors and really helpful owner. I can recommend this flat, especial because it zoo central and still you have your silence in the house. We enjoyed our stay!!!
