Heatherhill Lodge is in Letterfrack village right beside Connemara national Park which has a visitor centre in the village. Kylemore Abbey is 3 miles away. Letterfrack has two lovely craft shops, one beside Letterfrack pier and one in the village. There are several good places to eat in the village all at different price ranges. There are three pubs in the village with Irish traditional music on different nights. There are boat trips from the pier in Letterfrack and lots of beaches near-by.
There are lots of white, sandy beaches a short drive from the house. Clifden town is 8 mi away and is a good day out. Inishboffin Island is nearby and great for a day out as are Westport and Galway city.
The Kilary Adventure centre which is only 5 miles from the house and offers lots of outdoor activities from windsurfing to bungee jumping for all age groups.Kylemore Abbey and gardens are only 3 mi from the house and are a must see for visitors to the area. Relax and enjoy the view from house.
