Beautiful modern house to rent, comfortably and stylishly furnished for up to 10 people, with 5 twin/double bedrooms, with en-suite showers or bath and walk -in closet; spacious living/dining area; large well -equipped kitchen; media room with TV and music system. Spectacular views of the sea ( 5 min walk ) from living -room, large swimming -pool and terrace. This is an all - season house in the Cap de Creus National Park ( see our website for description of seasonal use ). 20/26 min walk to beautiful town of Cadaques. 15 min walk to Dali's house at Port Lligat. The quality of light is magical and changes with every season. Local Summer sea perfect for sailing, kayaking, swimming, and scuba - diving. Spring and Autumn bird - migrations exceptional.

  • The bathrooms are simple, beautiful and comfortable with toilet, basin, counter-top, towel-rail and large shower area. Each is mainly white with a differently coloured trim. There is a glass door in each shower out of which you can step onto the small back path that leads to a sheltered patio at the back of the house. The glass doors also have their own shutters. One shower-room also has a bidet. Near the front door there is a cloakroom and separate toilet.

  • Four bedrooms are on the main pool floor, the fifth is downstairs, next to the media room. The four bedrooms on the main floor each have en-suite shower rooms, the downstairs bedroom has a full bathroom with over-bath shower. Each bedroom has a large closet for clothes; in the main floor bedrooms these are walk-in closets and downstairs has a wardrobe. All bedrooms have comfortable white bed-linen and towels and their own colour-themed quilts and cushions. In the four main floor bedrooms, there is a glass door at the back which opens onto an outside terrace and the high wild-flower bank which is at the back of the property. Each bedroom is entered from a long corridor with huge french windows that look out onto the pool, the park and the Cap de Creus Lighthouse. These windows can all be pushed back to allow direct entry onto the pool terrace. Every bedroom has two comfortable chairs, bedside tables and reading lamps as well as dimmable ceiling spotlights, a window blind and shutters.

Notes: There are three low steps up to the front door, so wheelchair users would need help to negotiate those. Once in the house the whole of the main floor is wheelchair accessible, though the showers have a rim to hold the water in so cannot be wheeled straight in to - help would be needed there. The lower ground floor would be accessible by going down the ramp into the garage and onto the media room or fifth bedroom. The whole house has underfloor heating which would be on in the cooler months, and each bedroom has its own controllable thermostat. The kitchen has two ovens, two fridge/freezers, large 5-ring electric hob and ample china, glass, cooking pans, cutlery etc. There is a small music system in the living area and a larger one in the media room, along with the DVD, television and surround sound. The laundry room is in the garage, with washing machine and dryer. A maid comes in weekly to clean.

A group of 5 of us spent a restorative week in this lovely property on the edge of the Cap de Creus National Park. Everything was as described and we fell in love with the spacious and well-appointed house. Thoughtful details include hair-dryers in each of the en-suite bedrooms, wonderful ventilation, spacious kitchen, terrace with perfect views, TV/DVD room downstairs for those who could tear themselves away from the comfortable sofas in the main sitting room. We enjoyed all the delights of the local area - walks, Cap de Creus lighthouse and restaurant, Cadaques, and the Dali house a mere 10 minutes walk away. One brave soul dipped into the swimming pool (October temperatures!) and the rest of us sun-bathed on the terrace and wandered through the autumnal gardens around the property. Highly recommended - we would love to come again and experience the spell of the house - we all slowed down and took time to just enjoy our time together. Thank you for a very special place to stay.

BEAUTIFUL HOUSE

We had a great time and although the weather was really bad we very much enjoyed it staying in your house. We were with 7 adults and a 5-year old and we had the feeling we had all the space we need.
Also we like you to know that Ruben and Natalie of Finques Corcoll are a very kind and helpfull couple.
I hope if in future we like to return to Cadaques with the family we may rent you beautifull house again.

Thank you for the spectacular, spacious design of this comfortable, luxurious house and swimming pool. The facilities in my bedroom were extraordinarily thoughtful- torch, hairdryer, thick towels. The view is stunning- boats, the moon, olive groves, and the walking lovely.

An Ideal Seaside Getaway for a Group of Friends

The villa is particularly well designed for holidays with groups of friends as there are four equally good double bedrooms with ensuites and they all open on to the pool area. There is a terrific al fresco dining area that overlooks the pool and the sea. The kitchen is well equipped with platters and glasses and things for large group dining.

It is a short stroll to a charming small cove with excellent swimming (at the end of the cul de sac, probably 200 metres) and it is a bonus that you can walk from the house to the Salvador Dali house at Port Lligat.
