If you want an apartment that is close to everything, this is it, less than 5 minutes walk from the beach, some excellent restaurants, bars etc. 15 min. walk to the Marina. No need for a car, although private car parking is available. Public transport , 5 min. from the apartment. The apartment is south facing, so enjoys the sun from early morning. A balcony that is facing the sea and overlooking the pool. The apartment is on the border between Torremolinos and Benalmadena, and so enjoys the luxury of extensive beaches, and a beautiful promenade stretching for miles. The complex is well managed, beautiful grounds, also while you are guaranteed a good nights sleep, there is also plenty of night life close by. The apartment has a fully fitted kitchen, All English channel TV stations and air conditioning/heating (meter basis).

From a location point of view, you could not be better placed.The Imperial Puerto is a lovely complex close to the Sol Timor and Aloha Puerto hotels, and close to all amenities. There is a supermarket (Lidl) 100 meters from the apartment and the beach with its promenade is only a 200/300 meter walk You do not need a car, although there is private parking available, as the local bus stop is 100 metres away and a 15 min. walk brings you to the train station at Pinillo on the Malaga-Fuengirola line. Local attractions: Aqualand Water Park, Selwo Marina with dolphins,sea lions,penguins and parrots, Paloma park (Highly recommended)Tivoli world amusement park/cable car are all a short taxi journey and Sea Life Aquarium is a short walk. There is a taxi rank at the Sol Timor hotel, 100 m from the apartment.

Getting to the apartment: The apartment is approximately 10 miles from Malaga airport.. Taxis are plentiful and cost about €20. A representative from 'holiday-guide' will meet you at the apartment with the keys, and to explain how things work in the apartment, TV, washing machine etc. In the apartment you will also find a comprehensive folder outlining useful information to familiarise you with the area and its amenities. There are lots to do in the area. To entertain the children Tivoli World Amusement Park is not far away in Arroyo, and the Selwo Marina Dolphinarium and Sealife Centre has the largest shark collection in Europe. There are also plenty of activities to entertain adults with numerous golf courses and even a casino for evening entertainment as well as numerous bars and clubs There are a couple of beautiful nature parks, such as Paloma ( 5 min. by taxi) where both young and old can relax and enjoy a lazy afternoon.

Entertainment: While the area is a busy holiday resort, it is very suitable for families, in that it is not your 'Ibiza' type area. At the same time there is plenty of quality night life entertainment for the young and not so young. There are a number of very good restaurants in the area, to suit all tastes. Most of the restaurants are inexpensive and the quality of the food is excellent. Afterwards you can stroll along the promenade, which is both beautiful and entertaining, stretching all the way from Benalmadena to Torremolinos.

Golf : For the golf enthusiast there are numerous golf courses, they say you can play golf all the year round, a different golf course each week.

Stayed here on a number of occasions, Love the place and the area, mainly because it is convenient, bars, restaurants, beach all within 5 mins walk. Apartment clean, tidy and well looked after. Will definately book again.

Best Location Without a Doubt

This was our first trip to Torremolinos in 7 years and it was terrific. The Imperial Puerto is absolutely the best location in Torremolinos. You are a 5 minute walk from the beach and a few minutes more to the marina in Benalamedina. La Carihuela is a leisurely 15-20 minute walk to the east along the boardwalk.The bus stops right outside the apartment building to take you downtown. There is a travel agency very close by so if you feel inclined there are some very good excursions to think about.The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures except for a new flat screen TV which arrived just after we did. The apartment was very very clean and had everything you needed. Lorraine and Colin were waiting at the apartment when we arrived and showed us everything and were very knowlegeable about the area, where the good restaurants were, the pubs and shopping. They were also easily available if something unforseen popped up. Here you can be as busy as you want or at leisure if you want. The grounds at the Imperial Puerto were very well maintained. I would have no problem recommending the Imperial Puerto to family or friends, I think they would be very pleased. One of the new restaurants we ate at was Kate's Cottage about 3 minutes south of the apartment building which we ate at more than once. Sitting on the balcony (facing south) with a cup of coffee around 8 in the mornings just looking out at the sea with the sun shinning was absolutely the most relaxing feeling I've had in years. Will we be back - absolutely.
