We rented this apartment for our stay in Berlin. One of the reasons we rented it was because it stated there was a washer, dryer and detergent. When we got there the owner said that was not true. Sent her the information and she changed the details. It was a paid washer and dryer but we were not told about the special coins for them. Fortunately, another person was in the room who helped us out. Didn't know you had to sign in for a time also. We had email about the time to meet to receive the keys. After waiting over 30 minutes we finally called Anna who said there was a mix up and she had to get the keys from her husband. The apartment is very small. There were no city maps or transit maps which would have been a great help.
I emailed Anna to tell her what time we needed to leave. She confirmed back in an email that her husband would be there at 11:45 and the cleaning person would be there soon after. The cleaning lady showed up but no husband. At noon we called Anna.who told us she thought it was noon when her email clearly stated he would be there at 11:45. The husband finally showed up and didn't even know he was supposed to bring the deposit until she called him.. We had to catch a train so it was a little nerve wracking. We have rented several apartment in Europe and South America and have not run into this kind of confusion.
My husband and I stayed here in November 2012 in this gorgeous Apartment. It's very modern, clean, quiet and cozy. This is a very safe and pristine neighborhood, and the Building is in a prime location with access to the famous Kudamm which will only take seconds to reach. Subway stations and Bus stations are only steps away, and the Supermarket on the Kudamm near by is open 24 hours which is very convenient. You are surrounded by many Restaurants and Cafe's and have a variety to choose from. The owners are very nice and helpful. I would rent this property again, and can highly recommend it. My wife and I decided to plan a last minute trip as we had some unexpected free time from work. We looked through a few listings before deciding to stay here. Because we were so last minute, we were really in a pinch to find a place to stay. The owner, Anna, replied to our inquiry very quickly. Anna and her husband also accomodated our late arrival of 2015.
The apartment was just as expected. Very clean and modern, with plenty of room for us and our child's travel bed. My wife and I loved the design of the room, especially the stone work behind the television and under the bed. The building itself is a aged, but well kept and tidy, as most apartment buildings are in Germany. We were on the first (really the second) floor, so accessing the building was very easy, even with a stroller and a baby. If you drive a car, be patient and wait for a spot. It seems like there are 10 cars for every 9 parking spaces!
My only real (small) apprehension initally was the distance to the public transportation. There were some other locations that were only 1-2 minutes walking to a U-station. However, we found the short walk (5 minute) quite nice as the streets are lined with bakeries and shops to grab a coffee and a baguette before hitting the city. We also found that the apartment was equidistant to two stations. We primarily used Adenauer, but the Charlottenburg station is just as close. It is nice to use both depending on where you are going to that day. We also came back to it from one site as the Charlottenburg station was a direct route. All that said, it has great access to public transport.
If you are going to Berlin, you will have a hard time finding more value for your money than this apartment.

Tourists without a Car,
Families with Young Children,
This studio apartment is just like a lovely IKEA showroom. Tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean I found it extremely comfortable , especially for one person but a couple would be very easily accommodated. While the building itself is a little bit tired it is in such a handly position to facilites and transport that this is not an issue. I was really happy with my choice of accommodation and would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends.
My husband and I stayed more than 3 weeks in the red apartment and on our arrival we spent 1 night in the green one. Apartments are basically identical, very well equipped, modern, new and clean. Exactly as on the photos. Location is great, probably the best in Berlin - just steps from Kudamm and still in a very idyllic and quiet neighborhood. Owners are friendly and professional. Renting a good apartment in Berlin is more complicated than it first seems - there are lots of ads but most of them are put there by the third hand brokers sitting somewhere in UK, Italy or Spain, who never seen the apartment they are offering to you (so you basically don't know where you will finish). Also there are a lots of people who are subletting apartments in which they actually live the whole time and they just move out somewhere for the period that you booked. So, if you want to avoid all this mess and stay in a place that is rented professionally I would certainly recommend these apartments.
Apartments are located in the central shopping street 'Kurfürstendamm'. Not a hundred miles away you will find restaurants, clubs, shops, supermarkets, etc. You need only a few minutes to reach famous tourist attractions, for example: Memorial Church/Broken Church.
