Luxury, Self catering four bed, three bath house, close to beach

Stunning 4 bedroom house, situated within the urbanization of Audiencia, next to Praia Verde, in the unspoilt East Algarve, 15 km from Tavira and 8km from Vila Real de Santo Antonio. Set among pine trees and close to all amenities the house is three minutes walk (250 metres)from the superb sandy beach and two restaurants and a cafe/bar. The house is within a few minutes drive of five superb golf courses, including the new Jack Nicklaus, Monte Rei course, and backs onto a national natural reserve of pine trees. It is a beautiful, comfortable house, with a traditional Portuguese feel,laid out over two floors with terraces overlooking the garden and reserve. It boasts views over the pine forested national park and towards the sea, and is luxuriously furnished throughout its four bedrooms, large living room and dining area, together with a large well appointed open plan kitchen. The bedrooms and living room are air conditioned and the house is luxuriously furnished to a very high standard.

The beautiful Ria Formosa.: The Ria Formosa in the Algarve is a beautiful labyrinth of lagoons separated from the sea by a coastal dune system which is broken up by various natural inlets. It is one of the most important nature reserves in the network of wetlands that links Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. The Ria has an enormous variety of natural habitats that provide refuge, feeding and breeding areas for an infinite number of flora and fauna and is a haven for birds.

The beaches of the isles of Faro, Barreta, Culatra, Armona and Tavira form a natural barrier to the Ocean. Behind are the dunes, sometimes just a narrow strip and sometimes wider and then come the labyrinth of lagoons and small sand islands and channels. At low tide other salty habitats are uncovered forming marches and salt marshes.

A wintering ground for many migratory birds. The Estuary has an enormous variety of natural habitats and biotopes that provide refuge, feeding or breeding areas for an infinite number of organisms.

Casas da Audiencia is an exclusive village of around 250 large villa and houses, situated between the towns of Altura and Monte Gordo, and next to the well known Praia Verde Condominium. The area boasts two superb restaurants on the beach itself, and a cafe/bar. In addition, there is a local shop, bakery and pastelaria that sells all the basics, plus some superb Portuguese pastries! The beach is 3 minutes walk from the villa, through pine trees,and the beautiful unspoilt sandy beach stretches for miles, Nearby is the Ria Formosa, a nature reserve stretching 67 kilometres along the coast to Faro. The villa backs onto a National Park, full of pine trees surrounding a beautiful unspoilt lake that is a magnet for wild birds and ducks. It is excellent for walking and cycling in. The villa is within five minutes drive of several top golf courses, including the newly opened Jack Nicklaus course at Monte Rei and the Ballesteros course at Quinta do Vale.

Notes

  • 25% non refundable deposit of full rental cost must be paid on booking. The remaining 75% of the full rental cost must be paid 4 weeks before the start of the rental period. A security deposit of 300e will also be taken at that time. This will be returned within one week of the end of the rental period, subject to any breakages and damage. Air conditioning is included in the rental price. However, excessive use of electricity will result in an additional charge, to cover this.
  • While we have cleaners who will come to thoroughly clean the house after your departure, we do ask that clients leave the house reasonably tidy, with the rubbish taken out and the dishes and crockery cleaned. The barbecue should also be cleaned. Failure to adhere to these conditions will result in a 20 euro cost which will be deducted from the security deposit
  • Unfortunately we cannot accept pets

    We can organise a chef to come to the house and cook a portuguese meal for your family.

The final bedroom has two single beds and one single futon bed.
