This is a spacious and airy town house situated in the historic village of Benabbio. A perfect blend of stunning views, outdoor pursuits and culinary delights make this the perfect place to relax in traditional Tuscan style. The small frontage of the house that overlooks the church square belies the spacious accommodation that is on offer.
The house is unusually large for a property of this type, both in the number of rooms available and their size. For example, the living room area is 45m sq with a total living area of 170 M2.
Although small, Benabbio has everything required for day to day living with a small shop, tobacconists, bar/ restaurant and pizzeria (both of which we can personally recommend!).
During the summer months there is a small outdoor bar with traditional dancing area. Further afield, Bagni di Lucca offers many bars, restaurants, trattorias and pizzerias for different kinds of dining experiences according to your mood.
Benabbio is a beautiful medieval village nestling in the hills above Bagni di Lucca. It has 2 village shops, a fabulous pizzeria and a bar/restaurant. The surrounding countryside attracts cyclist and walkers.
The village is close to the Garfagnana national park and the famous Orrido di Botri gorge making it popular with outdoor enthusiasts. Florence and Lucca are within easy reach and are not to be missed.
The beach at Viareggio and skiing at Abetone are approximately 50km away.
4.5km down the hill in Bagni di Lucca you will find the historic spa which gave the town its name. There is a fantastic outdoor/indoor swimming pool that is popular with families, and a vast range of restaurants that cater for all tastes.
