These properties are ideal for exploring the Split area of Croatia, minutes to a beautiful bay and all amenities are all within a short walking distance.
The views from the apartments is spectacular, waking up each morning to them is a delight. Right beside the beach and local amenities. Great location on the island.
We are back from our holidays.
We had a greate week in your appartment in Kroatia and enjoyed the time very much.
The appartment is beautiful.
We would like to say: Thank you very much for the greate time.
We had a great time in the penthouse apartment. The photos don't do it justice. It's a great location, quiet, yet a 5 minute walk to the main beach at Okrug, with its many beach bars and restuarants. Watching the sunset over the bay from the Terrace, with the smells of early evening cooking wafting in the air, and the sounds of the distant beach, was idyllic. You can see the local beach from the terrace, which is a two minute stroll down from the apartment. The welcome pack and advice on local restuarants were a nice touch and on the button. We tried The End in Trogir (try the grilled sea wolf !), and both Villa Katerina and Mali Raj (mixed grill for two is divine) in Okrug. All were superb.
I would love to return soon, and would definitely return to the apartment. The traffic in and out of Trogir was fierce at peak times (it took us over an hour for what should be a 10 minute journey, however the boat from Okrug takes 20 minutes and is a far better way to travel in, very picturesque as you arrive in Trogir. There were lots of great day trip options. We did Krka falls which are incredible, and also hired a boat for a day (70euros) and swam in secluded bays, stopping off at beach bars and resturants around the island. It felt like paradise. Split was a great day out and a 30 minute boat trip away(2 euros) from satine on the other side of the island.
We stayed 2 weeks in Ciovo and loved it. The first Accommodation was the 2 bed Apartment which was particularly spacious with two floors, and a second twin bedroom with ensuite (bath/shower). It was very bright and welcoming upon arrival with all mod cons and essentials available. There was nothing the host had not thought of for our stay. The side balcony was perfect for the morning sun with a stunning view of the sea and mountains of Trogir and nearby islands.
Close by was a secluded beach with a few quaint restaurants and a regular boat taxi to the old historical town of Trogir. Just a few mins walk (and costing only a few Euros). Everything you need is nearby; grocery stores, Atms and all amenities are all within walking distance. There were both quiet and lively bars on the waterfront close by and gorgeous restaurants with the local cuisine which was simply divine. I highly recommend trying the Zagreb Schnitzel if your so inclined. Ask the very friendly and helpful host Alison for recommendations and you are sure to get a great service nearby.
All in all a gorgeous apartment and an unforgettable stay.
Beautiful apartment, well equipped with stunning views from the balcony. Alison answered all queries in the run up to the stay in a speedy time. No need to rent a car as everything in walking distance. Lovely beach nearby and lots to see and do in the area.
Our first time in Croatia and hopefully not the last. This apartment was a lucky find, everything was as described, except the shower-room which although adequate, was a disappointment as the rest of the accommodation was excellent and spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchenette had everything – really good use of a small space. Air-con was appreciated too! The piece de resistance of course was the really spacious balcony/terrace perfectly equipped with sun-loungers, reclining chairs and a table for meals, with fabulous views down to the beaches and over the sea to Trogir.
The apartment is conveniently situated with a small supermarket 100 or so yards to the left and also for the beach, larger supermarket and local restaurants and bars – two restaurants within really easy reach, the others a longer stroll down to the beach and along by the sea to the main road. The local manager was helpful with our suitcases, as it is 50 stairs up to the penthouse (clue in the name!), and also letting us stay an extra hour on our departure.
We enjoyed a lovely day in Trogir, wandering around the old town and the markets, and then had a fabulous day at Krka – so glad Alison recommended this. Info left in the apartment is very useful – did wonder what would happen in a medical emergency as we couldn’t find any reference to doctors or nearest hospital. WiFi was a welcome addition to the amenities available at the apartment and had perfect reception. The booking procedure was easy and Alison was so helpful and friendly throughout the whole procedure. Would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone, unless they have problems with a lot of stairs or walking up long, steep-at-times slopes.
Very nice picturesque place. Romantic beach, close to restaurants, shop. Very close to Trogir. I recommend a trip Scooters. Apartment spacious with air conditioning. Cooperation with Allison wonderful. I recommend to all :)
I would highly recommend this apartment. I stayed but also did some road trips. Trogir is such a beautiful place with so much culture. I would highly recommend TRS restaurant. I went to Rojivni for a few days which was really worth the visit.
The apartment was as described and very clean. The big terrace was perfect for relaxing in the sun during the day and for having BBQ'S in the evening. The beach is a stone’s throw from the apartment.
There is lots of information and leaflets in the apartment about things to do and places to see. The manager was very friendly and really helpful.
Croatia is such a stunning place.
I will definitely be going back.
