Large penthouse apartment located in the popular seaside village of Mellieha, 2 minutes from the largest sandy beach on the island. Sleeps up to six people. The penthouse has 1 large king size bedroom, 1 large double bedroom and 1 large twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms with bath and shower, a large open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, separate private washroom (laundry), lounge with designer furniture and balcony complete with terrace furniture seating 6. Fully Air conditioned throughout. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard, with all a family would require to have a superb self catering holiday, including all mod cons such as a washer, dryer, oven, full air conditioning, BBQ, TV, DVD and stereo system, to the essentials such as tableware, kettle, toaster etc. The balcony has excellent views to the Mellieha Bay church, one of the most photographed churches on the island and the rear of the apartment has sea views via the adjacent washroom.

Mellieha is a popular family seaside village boasting the largest sandy beach on the island. The beach is well established with cafes, sun bed hire and a vast array of water sports including mini cruises, jet ski hire, banana boat rides, water skiing and paragliding to name a few. Popeyes village is nearby and a short boat ride from the beach will take you to the blue lagoon. Along the beach are numerous restaurants and bars ranging from English cuisine to local specialities. There are no shortage of shops and the supermarket adjacent to the apartment sells all the essentials of home. The main village, near to the church, has everything a family would ever need including car hire, tourist information and a pharmacy with a doctor. The entire area has very reliable public transport to the rest of the island, on the famous Malta buses. Mellieha is half an hour from Valetta, Maltas capital which boasts a vast shopping experience and Mdina, the famous walled city. Transfers arranged.

This apartment is ideally located for visitors to Mellieha - very close to the beach and all facilities. Bus stop immediately outside for those wishing to use bus service to visit other parts of the island.

The property was exactly as described, modern & clean. The owners are very helpful and arranged transfers to and from the airport for us.

We had an excellent holiday and enjoyed staying in this apartment - thoroughly recommended.

A beautiful week in Mellieha

We spent a week in this property in August 2009. The apartment is excellent and properly furnished. Three bedrooms make of this property the perfect match for a family or a group of friends. Air conditioning in all rooms is a real plus, especially in a hot August. The availability of a washing machine proved very helpful. No drawbacks, honestly. Mellieha beach is very close, you can walk to the beach in just a few minutes and it is not as crowded as it might seem when when you look at it from the distance. We did not try nearby restaurants, but there is a lot of good choice in the centre of Mellieha, which is only 3 minutes drive.
We definitely feel like recommending the choice of this apartment

We had a lovely stay in Malta, the apartment was all it said it was, very clean, spacious, close to all shops bars and beach. Would definately recommend to anyone wishing to visit Malta. Thank you Mark and Gemma we really did enjoy it Joan and family.

apartment on top floor looking out over farm and village church (HOW I MISS THIS VEIW)walking distance to the beach sandy and safe, bus stop opposite appartment buses very cheap and reliable,good choice of resturents next to appartment car hire very good value approx 20euros per day we had a wonderful time and i hope we dont leave it another 15 years till we return
we went in october and the weather was lovely and hot
