Brac is one of the largest and most beautiful islands in the Adriatic sea. It has very lush Mediterranean vegetation, old little villages, olive groves, unpolluted air, crystal clean sea. On the southern part of the island there is the fourth most beautiful beach in the world called Golden Point(Zlatni Rat, Bol). All this beauty will make you feel like you are in heaven.
Brac is known for its white stone among many other things like a small desert in the middle of the island called Blaca ,with an ancient monastery.The finest olive oil ,organic lamb ,cheese,wine , all come from Brac. Many palaces and monuments are made of this beautiful stone. For example the White House in Washington D.C. was built by it, that's why it is called the White House.
Dubrovnik is a special jewel in Dalmacia and would be an unforgettable experience,but it is little far away,about 200 km each way.
