Trullo Olivia sits in an acre of it's own grounds surrounded by olive trees. Situated in Capo di Gallo, on a hilltop a few kilometres from Alberobello, the magnificently renovated trullo is in a peaceful location with beautiful uninterrupted views along the Itria Valley. Outside, the trullo boasts a 50 sq.metre kidney shaped swimming pool on the extensive private terrace and gazebo area. The barbeque sits underneath an arbour with sun loungers, occasional tables and hammocks ensuring guests enjoy lazy days in the beautiful Italian sunshine. The main cone of the trullo forms the lounge with comfortable leather seating, leading to the dining alcove and fully equipped kitchen. One of the three attractive and comfortable bedrooms enjoys an ensuite shower room with the remaining two bedrooms sharing the unusual yet completely functional shower room built into the original oven. Guests will not be disappointed by this exceptional Italian holiday villa and the outstanding accommodation

Puglia stretches from the stiletto of Italy's heel to the spur further up the boot and has a sunny Mediterranean climate. The region is very 'Italian' and boasts over 50 million olive trees producing 10% of the world's olive oil. It is also the largest wine producing area with vineyards in abundance. Trullo Olivia is situated in Capo di Gallo, a few km from Alberobello, the main town of the Trulli region. Home to around 1400 Trulli clustered together forming narrow cobbled streets; there are many excellent restaurants, bars and shops selling local handicrafts. Alberobello lies in the picturesque Itria valley and is a facinating town to explore, market day is a must. Locorotondo and Martina Franca a short drive with Ostuni a little further away. The rocky Adriatic coast is around 20 km to the east with small sandy inlets, crystal clear water and many wonderful seafood restaurants overlooking the sea. The Ionian coast is around 50 km away and has long sandy beaches worth exploring

Notes: The Trullo has been equipped to a very high standard with comfortable beds and good quality furniture throughout. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with good quality china, cutlery, knives, pans, ovenware, dishes and glassware, There is crisp white bedlinen throughout , bath sheets, hand towels and pool towels are included. All linen is changed weekly and the trullo cleaned. In the lounge we have a flat screen tv, satellite, c.d player and ipod docking station. There is a good library of books, dvd's, and games which are very popular, especially if there is a rainy day. There is an excellent central heating system for cooler months and hot water on demand. A travel cot iand high chair are available. All doors and windows have wrought iron grills and mesh screening to allow windows to be left open but keep insects out.

Trullo Olivia is in a very rural position yet only 5km from Alberobello where there are many shops, banks, bars and superb restaurants. We have a very good guest information guide in the trullo to assist our visitors. Noreen Farrow, who lives and works in Alberobello, takes care of the day to day running of Olivia. She is a very friendly lady and informative about the local area. She meets all guests on arrival in Alberobello and accompanies them to the trullo and is available throughout the holiday should anyone need her.

We had the most wonderful time. You have a wonderful property which has been beautifully restored. The attention to detail is perhaps the most impressive thing and everything was clean and fresh. The area is so peaceful we didn't want to leave.
