Meia Praia Beach with its soft golden sand edged by a variety of beach bars and attractions is only 15 minutes walk away from the apartment. Because of the absence of rocks it is a popular destination for kite flying and windsurfers.
Lagos Marina is only a few minutes walk and shops and several restaurants are only a short distance.
Lagos on the western Algarve is a bustling town full of activity and night-life but also a town full of history. Since two and a half thousand years of its existence Lagos has been home to the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans and Moors all attracted by the harbour and what it represented concerning communication, location and therefore power. The pedestrian centre of Lagos offers a great variety of Portuguese and international restaurants, shops and small bars. The nearby beaches are probably the best in the region.
