Two bedroom second floor apartment, kitchen, living room, bathroom balcony

Our apartment has been recently furnished in a contemporary style. There is a superb balcony, complete with table and chairs, overlooking the golf course, north-east facing, ensuring a sunny start to the morning, but avoiding the intense heat of the afternoon sun; it's a great place to relax with a glass of wine (or two) in the evening.

The apartment has been carefully planned to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. It has a fully equipped, modern kitchen. The dining and adjacent lounge areas allow seating for 4 people from where you can watch all your favourite UK TV channels/DVDs or listen to CDs, from the comfort of leather sofa and chairs. Free WiFi is also included.

The two bedrooms offer flexible accommodation for four. The spacious tiled bathroom is complete with full sized bath, shower, WC, bidet & heated towel rail. The living room and bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. In addition, the bedrooms feature ceiling fans and a balcony.

WiFi Access: WiFi Internet access is available from the apartment.

Intercontinental Hotel Facilities: Two minutes walk from our apartment is the La Torre Intercontinental Hotel. Facilities include bars and restaurants, gym and spa.

La Torre Golf Resort is located in Balsicas, close to Torre Pacheco. It is about 15 km to the centre of Murcia and a similar distance from the Mar Menor beach resort, sitting halfway between the two. St Javier Airport takes around fifteen minutes and Alicante is an hour away.

Within the Mar Menor are many sheltered, gently sloping beaches making it an ideal location for family holiday. It is the largest lagoon in Europe, and the water is kept at a warm temperature throughout the season. There are many bars and restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets.

The historic old town at Murcia is a must, with its interesting architecture, including the Santa Anna Cathedral. There are also many museums and the ancient streets are lined with bars and cafes where you can watch the world go by.

Just to the north of Murcia is the new shopping complex, the Nueva Condomnia, with just about every shop imaginable, as well as a brand new football stadium, home of Murcia's football team.

Lovely clean apartment with everything you could wish for a short stroll away. The resort allows you to use any pool - there are 22 of them. Some more suitable for children. The service and security first rate. Would definiately recommend to friends and family - especially golfing friends!

A Perfect Holiday!

The photographs and descriptions are accurate in every way. The appartment was very clean, well furnished and can be reached by steps or a lift.
The bedrooms were cool and airy with very comfortable beds. (Shutters / air-conditioning / ceiling fans)
The view was amazing and as a non golfer I enjoyed watching everyone playing, especially the beginners. So entertaining!
The pool was always spotless, a lovely size, and has gradual steps at the far end.
The club house, shops and restaurants are in easy strolling distance.
I would certainly stay here again and will recommend it to my friends. It is such a safe and comfortable environment.
Next time I might visit the hotel pool and spa or maybe have a golf lesson or two!

Fantastic appartment, good views of pool and golf course. Very clean and well equiped. All correspondence down online. All went very smoothly. I would certainly reccomend this appartment. I have been going for the last 3 years. There is obviously the golf but with the 5 star hotel there are also spa treatments available. Plenty of family friendly pools and quieter ones for those who don't have children. Plenty of restaurants on site, all price ranges catered for. There is also a supermarket on site, with an in house bakery. Good selection of foods and wines. I hire a car but this is not essential. Travel time from Murcia airport appox. 15-20 mins. Easy to find the resort if driving.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
