Fantastic 3 bedroom apartment, sleeps 6 people, very close to all amenities!

This is a bright and spacious 3 bedroom apartment is in a fantastic location. It is surrounded by all amenities. It is located between Los Boliches and the centre of Fuengirola.

The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and plus a sunny balcony. It has been tastefully furnished for a relaxed atmosphere.

There are 2 good size twin bedrooms with wardrobes and a separate main bathroom. All 3 bedrooms have air-conditioning.

The modern bright living/dining room leads onto an enclosed balcony that has large patio windows that can be opened so is a great relaxation area plus an additional dining area.

There is a separate laundry room just off the enclosed balcony. There is a fully fitted kitchen with all necessary equipment.

This property is close to all amenities with supermarket, newsagents, internet cafe, bakery, pharmacy, butchers all within 1 minute walk from the property. It is also close to bars, restaurants and only 1 minute walk to the beach front.

Fuengirola: Fuengirola is just twenty five minutes from Malaga airport, while the local train station provides easy access to such popular nearby resorts as Torreblanca, Arroyo de la Miel and Torremolinos. Fuengirola is probably most famous for its 7 kilometres of sandy beaches, flanked by high-rise hotels and residential blocks of apartments with magnificent views of the Mediterranean and sweeping coastline. A recent landscaping drive by the local municipality has resulted in a wider promenade and plenty of palm trees, interspersed with colourful flower beds and additional seating. The beaches known as Boliches - Gaviotas and Torreblanca hold a European blue flag. Fuengirola has a vast number of bars and restaurants offering all international cuisines.

Fuengirola is an international resort, with tourists and residents of every nationality. There are very few home comforts you can’t find here. Fuengirola is particularly popular with tourists with a wide variety of entertainment and restaurants.

Fuengirola Continued: Fuengirola offers entertainment for all tastes and ages from a ride on the tourist train or horse and carriage around the town. Enjoy a day at the water park plus Fuengirola also offers a wide range of sports, including water sports at the marina. There are markets on a Tuesday and Saturday is a giant car boot sale and a craft and tourist market. They are located on the Recinto Ferial site.

If visiting Spain, Fuengirola is a good base to explore the Costa del Sol and Andalucia. Fuengirola is an international resort, with tourists and residents of every nationality. There are cinemas with a wide range of films, theatres with a full programme and in the summer, regular festivals and concerts at the castle. Fuengirola may appear to be over-developed but, you will find several sunny parks in which to sit.

Additional Information: There are 2 water parks on th coast; Mijas Aquapark and Torremolinos Aquapark. Day trip to Gibraltar to see the southern most point of Europe and go up the Rock to see the famous Apes There is also the possibility of day trips to Granada to see the Alhambra Palace or to Sevilla Mijas Village is only a short bus ride. Mijas is a typical white Spanish village with panoramic view over the coast. Fuengirola main local festival/fair is 6th-12th October. The zoo makes for a great day out. Don’t be fooled by the small exterior of the zoo, it covers a remarkable area.

Los boliches offers a host of bars and restaurants and is only a 5 minute walk away along the promenade. Los Boliches a suburb of Fuengirola has its traditional fishing festival/fair 12th-19th July. Los Boliches itself has its own beaches, shops and much more. It is a little quieter than Fuengirola centre. There are the remains of a Roman villa worthy of a visit. These can be found in Los Boliches.

Good holiday in Fuengirola

PROS. Fuengirola was big enough for our one month holiday and so was this well equipped good sized apartment in a very central location. The kitchen could not be better with all the equipment of home. Two good bathrooms and three nice sized bedrooms, the apartment was clean and tidy with good security. Very close to the beach and many bars, shops etc and an easy flat walk to most places.
CONS. Very noisy at night as the apartment is on a very busy road and corner, near bins and parking. The double mattress creaks and bounces badly and the settees are not very comfortable for a whole evening TV watching.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing
Owner's Response: As the manager of Iberian Hideaways properties I take customer reviews very seriously as my aim is to provide clients with the best possible standard and service. This property is in the town centre of Fuengirola and so understandably it can be noisier being in the centre of a busy town but then the advantage is being very close to all amenities and to the beach. I would also like to point out that these clients did explain that they normally live in a very quiet rural location so they were much more sensitive to any noise.
There is now a new double mattress to replace the mattress that was creaking.
I have not had any complaints about these sofas from previous clients but large cushions have been added onto the sofas for extra comfort.

Excellent apartment at a reasonable cost

I'm a regular visitor to this part of the Costa Del Sol, and prices often increase around Easter, so this apartment was a good find. It's a proper six-person apartment with plenty of space, so since there were just two of us we had the luxury of a large room each. We tend to shop in the local supemarkets and markets, and there was plenty of kitchen equipment for cooking. The two bathrooms are also large and kept clean. Having two balconies is great for people-watching!

I liked the location because although it's not on the sea front, it's convenient for everything: the large Mercadona supermarket is a couple of minutes walk away; the beach is just up a side street, and it's an easy ten minutes or so to Fuengirola centre for buses and the local trains. We tend to walk the other way to Los Boliches, which has a more Spanish feel, and both areas are full of cafes, bars and restaurants.

Eating out is remarkably good value on the Costa Del Sol, and there's plenty of variety, from cheap and cheerful cafes for breakfast to a range of tapas restaurants and 'chiringuitos' for excellent fish, right on the beach.

The seafront near the apartment is ideal for walking, since it's flat and runs for miles. For shopaholics, Plaza Major can be reached by the local 'cercanias' trains, or you can catch a bus to the large Miramar mall. But there's lots more to this part of Spain if you're prepared to explore a bit: Fuengirola Zoo is great for children and adults, and there are Roman ruins just near Los Boliches. Buses from Fuengirola bus station will take you further afield - in couple of hours you can be in Seville or Ronda.

Madeleine provides an efficient and helpful service and the apartment is just as described. The only disadvantage is the short season for the swimming pool in the lovely gardens, but why worry about that when the Mediterranean is a few minutes away!

This property is superbly situated between Los Boliches and Fuengirola centre. It is just only one minute walk to the beach and is very close to all amenities. It is five minutes walk into Fuengirola town centre. There are a vast number of bars and restaurants all within easy reach. The train and bus stations are just a few minutes walk from the property.
