Vauxhall is a beautiful inner-city area of South London, in the London Borough of Lambeth. At one point, it was in the historic county of Surrey. It's currently a popular residential area for Members of Parliament and civil servants, due to its proximity to the Houses of Parliament and Whitehall. Vauxhall is also known for its ethnic diversity, boasting a very strong Portugese and Muslim community. In recent years, Vauxhall's riverside has undergone major development, with a number of modern and residential blocks being constructed. One of these, the MI6, has been featured in many James Bond films, and is the home of the British Secret Intelligence Service. Other landmarks of the area include the Brunswick House, a listed Georgian mansion and former home of the Dukes of Brunswick; St. Peters Church, in Kennington Lane; and, soon, St. George Wharf, which will be the tallest residential building in the entire United Kingdom.

Excellent apartment in excellent location

The apartment was very close (50 mt) to underground station and near a convenient supermarket (Tesco expess). It was as described in web site, well furnished and clean.
The view from the apartment was simply spectacular.
The kitchen was well equipped and all appliances worked.
We visited London in a very comfortable way.

it is very well equiped and furnished.

near to everything you can think of cafes, grocery, few restaurants, and the most important bus, underground, and train stations.

liked the the view of the river, it was amazing in the morning.

The location is great. There are near Vauxhall metro station, restaurants, drugstore, supermarket - everything a family can need. The apartment is not a hotel, and there is not a conciergerie. In the kitchen are the most important things we need to cook, to wash the dish and the clothes, so we don´t have to buy. The beds are very comfortables.

Beautiful

My family and I had a great time staying at this apartment. Excellent location, well maintained apartment, great view. The meet and greet was very good. We had all the amenities we needed in the apartment and most of the supplies. Getting transportation was extremely easy, even for a young family like mine (with 2 toddlers!).
What we liked best was the location and ease of transportation. What we liked least was the fact that we had no access to the mail box and could not get slips left for online orders dropped with the concierge.
