Full of character and in an amazing location!

I stayed in this charming apartment with a couple of girl friends for a long weekend of shopping and culture. It is in a beautiful old building one street back from the river Arno and only minutes on foot from the train station, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizzi and all the shops and bars. It is in the perfect location with local shops, restaurants and cafes all on the door step but without the crowds found right in the centre. The apartment itself is lovely with many original features such as high ceilings, wooden beams and parquet flooring. I found it to be in good decorative order with lovely fresh linen and towels and cleaned to a high standard. The kitchen area is small but well appointed and big enough to cook and wash up in with everything that one might need. It really is a little piece of Florentine history in a great location for exploring one of the most beautiful and fun cities in the world!
