The house in Via Carmine is situated in the historic centre of Bosa, a 40 km drive from Alghero airport.
Bosa lies on the banks of the river Temo, the only navigable river in Sardinia. The house is on the edge of the Sa Costas medieval quarter, a labyrinth of cobbled-stone streets, close to the river and conveniently located for bars, restaurants and local shops. The main street in Bosa, Corso Vittorio Emmanuele, runs parallel with the river and is lined with aristocratic buildings. Bosa is dominated by the Castello Malaspina, the ruins of a castle built in the 12th century. There are some lovely restaurants where you can enjoy the local cuisine of fish and seafood, and plenty of bars where you can enjoy a glass of Malvasia, Bosa’s delicious desert wine, or the local red wine.
Bosa Marina has a broad beach and a string of bars and cafes. It takes about 20 min or so to walk but during the summer you can catch the tourist train from the main square.
