Palm-Mar lies in between a mountain on one side and a natural reserve on the other and enjoys a real micro-climate, and disposes of a tranquil and wonderful bay. The natural reserve is the habitat of several indigenous Canarian flora and fauna. The reserve is perfect for hiking and horse riding, or just to enjoy the typical Canarian nature. A commercial centre with a central position provide all the necessary amenities like bars, restaurants, a bakery, pharmacy, shops, banks, etc., with excellent communication via roads and public transport with the neighbouring areas such as Los Cristianos, Las Galletas and the airport just 10min away. For golf players this is also an ideal area, because there are several golf courses nearby. The apartment is minutes from the new seafront promenade which stretches along the sea front and contains a small children play and seating to relax and soak up the sun. Nearby diving facilities are available within the most tranquil part of the coastline.

  • To book we require £100 deposit (Non Refundable), with full balance paid 8 weeks before departure. Payment can be made via Bank Transfer or by Cheque please in either GBP or Euros. The property is privately owned & a Security Holding Deposit of £100 is required & should accompany the final booking payment. The Security Holding Deposit is in case of breakages, loss or damage to furnishings, bedding, keys etc. The Security Holding Deposit will be returned as soon as the keys are returned and the apartment has been checked by the key holder.
    We do everything possible to ensure all facilities are available, but we accept no liability for any lack of facilities due to any circumstances outside of our control.
  • All prices are for the entire rental of the Apartment per week (There are no hidden charges). This includes the provision of clean bed linen and towels and cleaning of your apartment following your departure. We can arrange for our maid to service the apartment daily if required at additional cost directly from the local maid service.
    We work on a friendly flexible approach to change-overs & ask all arriving & departing guests to do the same.

A WONDERFUL HOME FROM HOME HOLIDAY!

From start to finish this was a totally pleasurable experience - I have nothing but praise for the customer service regarding the booking of this apartment (John is a true gentleman), the apartment is beautiful, immaculately clean, wonderfully equipped, beautifully furnished and as the title of this review shows a total "home from home". The attention to detail from the owner includes a very comprehensive guide to the area, including attractions to visit, places to dine, and most importantly how to get there. We hired a car for our family of 5 (myself and husband, my mother and 2 children aged 15 and 11) For convenience of viewing the island I would advise this and it is far from expensive (and can be done online so the car is ready at the airport) The complex of Cape Salema is very well maintained, the gardens and pool area were tended daily and so very beautiful. On the days when we decided for a gentle relax at the complex, the pool was very welcomed by us, once again immaculately kept, and whilst the children swam, the adults sunbathed in the gorgeous surroundings! We were out for 2 weeks in Jan and had fantastic weather, and with the apartment being in such close proximity to Los Christianos, Siam Park, and all the beaches we had a truly lovely holiday. Regarding the area of Palm Mar, I can honestly say it is beautiful, as on the listing it is a largely residential area, a good choice of eating establishments, a couple of small supermarkets for the daily essentials and some lovely coffee shops/bistros. The care and attention spent to the cleanliness of the streets and the general appearance is wonderful, the palm trees down the central reservation of the road are lovely. We chose to stay out of the very commercial areas of Playa de la Americas/Los Christianos as we wanted the choice of being able to go out and enjoy them whenever we wanted for day and nightlife however, we also wanted to relax in peaceful surroundings without the noise, hustle and bustle when we wished. I can honestly recommend that this apartment in Palm Mar offers you the idyllic holiday with total security, in a wonderfully maintained complex and, being only literally 10 minutes from the stereo-typical "holiday" spots, is the most perfect base for a family holiday whatever your requirements are. We WILL be looking at returning to this very same apartment as it had all we wanted and more - it is a total credit to John and his wife and we totally thank them!
