Skibbereen Golf Club is within three miles of Inish Beg. It is an excellent 18 hole course.
Within 40 miles, there are six other golf clubs (Bandon, Bantry, Glengarriff, Kinsale and Lisselan) and the famous Old Head Golf Links near Kinsale.
There is also a driving range at Rosscarbery and pitch and putt at Baltimore and Dunmanway.

Baltimore is famous for its harbour and wonderful trips can be made to Sherkin and Cape Clear Islands by regular ferry. Other trips can be arranged to many of the Carbery Hundred Isles.
With fresh water river fishing on the river Ilen and sea angling out of Baltimore, the area is ideal for the fisherman.
Angling boats can be hired locally.
