The apartment is located on 7th Street between Meridian and Jefferson Avenue, a quiet residential area in the heart of the historic Art Deco District. It is only 5 blocks from the beach, shopping on Collins Ave is steps away and it is within easy walking distance of the Lincoln Road Mall.
This fantastic location gives you the choice between a relaxing hide-away or the thrilling experience of the South Beach’s restaurants, shops and bars. There is a secure public car park around the corner and access to public pool in Flamingo Park is included.
Great place for the price. Walking distance to the beach and all restaurants. If only they had washer and dryer in the unit it would be more convenient. We stayed for 9 days. Only problem with Miami is no parking. I wasn't aware of that. You can't park in the street and parking garage is 5 blocks away and it costs $20 per day or $1.75 per hour. So if you are not planning to drive around just take a cab.
A friend & I had a lovely one week stay in the 1 bed in South Beach thanks to the Beach Town Apartments team. The housekeeper Vicky was waiting for us on arrival & the property was clean & exactly as per the listing. A short walking distance from the beach, shops, grocery shops & laundry and slightly removed from the main streets for a quiet few hours. Cab's were easy to hail on the main street 3 minutes away. If you are looking at a long stay or a working trip i would speak to the team about boosting the internet as signal isn't great & a young child may need a TV but perfect holiday stay as is.
apt has plenty of space, handover worked out perfectly, quiet place but just 5min to beach, just a great athmosphere to live as a local. always again, .... thx a lot.
If you are looking to self-cater, at a superb price, in a centrally located part of SOBE, then this is the house for you! It is furnished to an extremely high standard, beautifully, but simply decorated and air conditioned, with all mod-cons. It is centrally located and so offers easy access to the beach and Biscayne Bay on the other side. The apartment was clean and Vicky, the English and Spanish speaking housekeeper, met us on arrival from the airport to give us the keys and to show us around. We had no waiting time at all. Booking with the super efficient Lucy in the UK was a breeze and she is most helpful!
Ocean Drive is 5 blocks away where you can enjoy all the nightlife and bustle. Lincoln is 15 minutes walk (4 minutes in a taxi) if you want to join in the colourful nightlife of South Beach with all the restaurants, clubs, excellent shopping etc.
A very clean, fully stocked supermarket called Meridian Food Market is situated a block away (on 6th Street behind the house) and Publix (major supermarket) is only a 7 minute walk (6th Street and Alton).
For us, this house was certainly the best choice and I would unhesitatingly recommend it. Fantastic value for money!
I fell in love with this little house on 7th street the moment I stepped out of the taxi. Each morning I would take freshly brewed coffee out on to the porch, look at the blue sky and plan my day. The house is all white, spacious with two bedrooms and superbly appointed kitchen and a really comfortable bed. Before departure I bought AA and Everyman Guides to Miami and was never lost! Walking to Ocean Drive was a couple of minutes, then paddling through the water, gazing out to sea at the big liners was beautiful, from one end of South Beach to the other took just about an hour. I didn't want to leave and cannot wait to visit the little house in 7th Street again. I was so happy there and everyone feels at home in Miami. For an omelette I liked The Front Porch Cafe.
