9 bedroom villa to sleep up to 22, 2 private pools, sauna,18000m2 of land

Hacienda Acedía is of style and ambiance befitting the home of an accomplished architect, perhaps exemplified by the high timber-beamed cathedral roof and windows.

Once you park your car and walk trough the passage way one gets to the main porch in front of one of the two pools, in which an antique wooden door leads you in to the main sitting room connected with the kitchen by an arch and a bar area that is ideal for entertaining.

It has a very large and spacious living / dining and kitchen area with breathtaking views to the countryside.

At the far end of the property there is a stone-walled lounge room, opening on to a sun terrace with access down to the garden. Half a level down from this lounge is another double bedroom with open plan dressing, bath and shower areas.

The master suite is attached to the main house by a covered porch.

The cottage has one bedroom with en suite bathroom and its own lounge area.

Pool sizes:: Outdoor Pool #1: 9,40m in diameter & 1,30m to 1,60m deep

Outdoor Pool #2: 9,5m x 4,5m & 1,50m to 1,70m deep, it also has a small round area that is shallow (1,74m in diameter)

So you can choose between the beaches, fun and frolics of the Costa del Sol, or the timeless beauty of some of inland Andalucía's most beautiful countryside and charming towns and villages. Nearby Casares, Gaucín, Jimena de la Frontera, Genalguacil and, further to the north, delightful old Ronda and the mountain village of Grazalema are all attractive, lovely places, well worth visiting.

The beaches of the western reaches of the Costa del Sol, the nearest to the villa, are much less 'touristy' and less congested than those further east. It is still possible to find swathes of empty golden sand here. Estepona is the nearest of the resort towns on the coast, a little more than fifteen minutes away. Marbella, with all its glitz and glamour, and Gibraltar, take 40 minutes.

There are lots of lovely walks in the area and horse riding stables are just down the lane, too. For golf enthusiasts, there are at least 25 top quality golf courses in the area.

The 25% is non-refundable and makes your booking definitive. 12 weeks prior to your stay you’ll have to transfer another 25%. If we don’t receive the other 25% 12 weeks prior to your stay we’ll cancel the reservation and open the dates to new reservations. The 50% remaining can be paid in cash on arrival or bank transfer before date of arrival

We admired your trees, plants and lovely birds singing in the morning and evening.

The architecture of your father is very special, the authentic Andalusian style but is also a special atmosphere of the rest, the peace inside and outside of the houses.

I just wanted to extend our thanks for such a lovely holiday at Hacienda Acedia. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't want to leave! in fact there were a few tears upon departure! We have all said there isn't a thing we would change, the Hacienda is stunning and the set up was perfect for us! We'd very much like to visit again!

Dear Rama,

We all have returned savely at home. It´s been an amazing stay at hacienda for all of us. We loved the houses, the beautiful garden, the surroundings, the different energies at the pools and even the flys,-))
The property offers so many different opportunities, inside and
outside,...Thank you so much for having us there, and thank you for your support in any case. Please give many thanks to Trevor, Kathy and Kaio also, we had no chance to say good bye the last day...which is a shame,...

We just wanted to let you know that we thought the villa was excellent. It is the combination of a beautiful villa and gorgeous surroundings that creates a perfect holiday. You certainly provide that!

We also wanted to say that your hands on & family approach really works. When we asked about the Internet you responded so quickly and fixed the wifi within 24 hours, thank you. Everyone who we met was so friendly and could not have done more to help.
