Self-catering condo with communal pool and WiFi on this beautiful resort

Completely refurbished, this is an immaculate 2 bed/2 bath all year holiday self-catering rental on beautiful Lake Marion, close to 5 championship golf courses inc Diamond Back, only 40 mins from the Orlando theme parks and an hour to the Florida beaches.

The air conditioned condo offers 2 bedrooms (1 en-suite) sleeping up to 4. The living area comprises of cable TV (thats shows live Premiership Football), Wi-Fi and comfortable seating for 4. The open plan kitchen has all the mod-cons including washer/dryer, cooker/microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. The condo is perfectly situated on the resort, directly opposite the pool and clubhouse. Towels and bed linen are all included. Ponciana is a 5 min drive with plenty of restaurants & shops.

With tennis courts (2), basketball court, shuffle board, ping pong, swimming pools (2), child pool, Hot whirlpool, and child's play area there is lots to keep you entertained. After all the excitement of Orlando attractions you can enjoy peace and tranquility of the resort.

Lake Marion Resort has it all. It is located on a 3800 acre fishing lake and is a quick trip away from restaurants and shops including a Supercenter Wal-Mart and Publix. The Clubhouse facilities include 2 all year round heated swimming pools, Jacuzzi, a pool table, shuffle board and table tennis.

Inside there is a Workout Room and big screen TV. A two minute walk takes you to the Lighted Basketball and Tennis Courts. You can of course just relax on the Lake front picnic spots or take advantage of the views of the beautiful Lake Marion.

Amenities include Swimming, tennis, walking, boating, fishing, golf, Outlet-Shopping, Pier-Fishing, Fitness-Center, Playground, Pond. There are also horse riding facilities 10 min away by car. Close to theme parks such as Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, the new Legoland and many water-parks. Tampa & Busch Gardens are just over 1 hour away and Cocoa Beach is also just an hour away.

We really enjoyed our time at Lake Marion,Rob and Katie were super easy to deal with. The condo was just as advertised and the resort area is very nice. The security staff is super nice and vigilante. If you want Pizza delivered this might not be the place for you, but if you don't mind a little drive and you really enjoy peace and quiet this is the place, spotlessly clean the resort staff works very hard keeping it that way. we personally never had an issue with cell phone coverage, probable depends on the carrier.
The lake was disappointing the dock area is almost overgrown with vegetation someone with boat would have to be real careful to not foul their prop.

Great Condo

My family and I had such a great time at Lake Marion. The condo was neat, well maintained and the complex was quiet. A huge bonus there was enough for my toddler to do within the complex which meant that we didn't have to go to theme parks every single day.

The only downer is that there is limited cellphone coverage within the complex but there is a landline so you can get an international calling card if you need to make phone calls. Also, there is wifi so emails (if you really must check) would still come through.

Unfortunately, we had to go home early but we would definitely be back there as soon as possible and do the holiday over. Katie was great to deal with .

We have now stayed in this home on a couple of occasions and have had a wonderful time.

It is clean and modern and it's great that it has free wi-fi. It could not be better located right across from the main clubhouse.

The resort itself is very quiet and we were often the only people by the main pool.

Katie the owner is a pleasure to deal with and we are already looking to coming back again in 2013!

Nice Pad.....

A very nice, clean holiday home with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and everything one could want. It is out in the countryside, so a car is essential, (but then so it is everywhere in the States). The house is one of the closest properties to the clubhouse and pool area, (just across the road) and the estate is secure by a barrier and security people who drive around 24 hours a day. Whilst we were there it was very quiet, we were often the only people sitting by the pool, The area seems to have a micro climate of cloudless blue sky because when we drove to the coast or to Orlando we drove into cloudy conditions. Will recomend to family and friends.

We had a great time at the Lake Marion resort.
The apartment is perfectly clean and has all you need to have an enjoyable stay- a/c, washer & dryer, full kitchen, towels and blankets, cable, wifi, etc etc. The place is also spacious and comfortable.
Katie has been very responsive during all the process and made it predictable and reliable; it's been really a pleasure dealing with her.
We had absolutely no issues and nothing to complain about. Definitely a place I would strongly recommend to anyone.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
