At one of the most beautiful canals in the city center of Alkmaar, this idyllic property in 1885. This 'old Alkmaerdertje' has an authentic look from outside, but inside it is completely in a warm and attractive style of the times arranged.

It is a sunny house with all the wishes that you have to enjoy. The open living room has a flat screen with CD / DVD and digital television system connections. A lovely fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher / washing machine) and a back door to the 'Alkmaarsche garden. Again, it is delicious on hot summer days outdoors in the city.

The upper floor is classified as a hotel room, luxury, ambience and coziness. A complete open space. At the front a double bed, rear, single bed which is extendable to two persons. In the middle of the bathroom with shower, ample closets and all the amenities desirable to be here to enjoy.

If you walk along the canal, you will come right in the shopping city of the Netherlands, Alkmaar. The two main shopping streets where all the stores down. And also all the old picturesque shopping streets, with its unique shops.

Everything nearby, and the Waag Waag Tower, where the cheese is between April and September. During the walk you many hip, trendy and nice restaurants, cafés, entertainment venues, theaters and cinemas against. Everything at your fingertips!

Take your bikes and enjoy the beautiful sand dunes, meadows, windmills, beaches and life in the villages around Alkmaar. Visit the fishing village of Egmond and the family beach, the mountains or the charming artists' village Schoorl with its climbing dune.

Or take the train within 30 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station! And cities as Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Volendam, Den Helder, Haarlem ... everything short driving distance.

Your holiday house is located in the city, you walk into the center for shopping, eating good food or drink. Pretty as a picture!

If you anticipate the front door you walk into the main shopping streets of Alkmaar. If this road goes through you will come out naturally in the Waagplein. Here is from April to September every Friday morning the cheese market, even here there are many restaurants and bars. The streets around the Waagplein are also many nice restaurants.

The area is beautiful to ride through the dunes to the beach or by train to Amsterdam (30 minutes). A wonderful place to enjoy the natural beauty that this area offers.

Golf: In the area there are many golf courses. The one nearest by is a beautiful old golf course named Sluispolder. But in the area within 30 km's there are about 8 golf courses. All unique with there difficulties.
