Grimentz is part of the Val d'Anniviers, which offers skiing in 4 distinct areas across 5 villages, all covered by one lift pass offering 220 km of skiing. Grimentz has skiing to suit all standards, from family skiing and snow boarding but with plenty of off piste available for the more experienced. With several 4000 m peaks within view, the landscape is spectacular. The skiing ranges from village height at 1500 m, to almost 3000 m with skiing in Grimentz mainly between 2100–to 2900 m.
Many ski tourers visit Grimentz and the resort has a reputation for excellent off piste and touring terrain. With varied skiing from open pistes to woodland runs back to the village, from easy blues to the steep blacks, a snow park at 2500 m in Grimentz and one in Zinal which is popular for both skiing and snowboarding alike.
The resort has a cable car access to the Bendolla, where there is a large restaurant and creche, snowmaking facilities to ensure good skiing.
