One of the best seaside resorts in Attica.
The house is sea view. The seaside is 130m away from house where you can find either a sandy beach or a rocky coast.
Along the seafront there is a concrete paved footpath for walking - jogging or biking.At the end of this footpath and 100m beyond further, one can find a small culf proper for diving.
About 300 m away from the house there is an organized sandy beach with umbrellas and sunbeds.General entrance to the beach 5 euro,kids 3 euro.There you can find some sea sports and sea games mainly for kids...sea-bikes,cayaking,etc.You can use a sea-bike or cayak to visit the small island Coronia that is in front of the house, in a distance of about 800m from the coastline.
Close to this beach you can find some free mud baths.
There is a tavern called Panorama in the beach ,nearby property, open throughout the year with good food on reasonable prices.
Within 3-5 kms distance, along the main seacoast road,there is a shopping area with tavernas,food markets, super markets,beach bars,banks etc.
Health services, just in case of an emergency ,are provided in Markopoulo health center.
According to the Greek Center for Ecological Studies the sea in front of house is ranked amongst the top five clearest in Attica.
Approximately 15 km away is the Koropi suburban train station where you can find the suburban railway and the metro that takes you downtown Athens in about 35 mins-the ticket for suburban from Koropi suburban station is 1.40 euro -one way.
If you have time ,don't miss to visit the new Acropolis museum ,below Parthenon cliff,established on 2009.
Also visit the National Arhaeological Museum of Athens.
Pretty close to the museum behind Park hotel you can find an excellent restaurant called ''Alexandria'' at 13,Metsovou st. ,with delicious Greek and Egyptian cuisine, in a delicate atmosphere and environment.

Visit also cape Sounio area and the ancient temple of Poseidon.
The ferry-boat from Rafina port can take you in about an hour in the South part of Evia island ,where you can visit Karistos(car fee 23 euro-passenger 7 euro)
From Rafina port , a bit north of Porto Rafti,you can also access the Andros island in about 2 hours.
From Lavrion port , south of Porto Rafti,you can access Kea island in about 75 mins.Swim there at the fabulous Spathi beach -southeast coast.It's like swimming in an enormous pool if its not windy...
Visit by car ,if you have time, Nafplion city in Peloponnese,the first capital of Greece.It takes about 2hrs driving-using Attiki odos- to cover the 150 kms.Its one of the most beautiful seaside cities in Greece.
Last but not least...Taste ONLY... EXTRA VIRGIN olive oil in Greece.All the other olive oils are made from the olive cores.The tap water is drinkable in most places of Greece apart from some islands.
