Paul, the owner was super easy to deal with; I never had a problem with responses. Also no problems getting our deposit back; we received it within 9 days of vacating.
The apartment itself, the view of the ocean in the pictures from the balcony, is as you look off the balcony in the distance, you see the ocean, there is a grassy field like area and more apts. & roads before you get to the actual beach. The building is very new and like Fort Knox, you will feel very secure. Not that this was ever an issue.
The living & dining room are spacious, w/TV & stereo w/connected speakers in each bedroom. The kitchen is modern w/ granite countertops and full size appliances, w/a small balcony off the kitchen. Note:if there is only cold water when you arrive, go to kitchen balcony, there is a small room, plug in the hot water heater, it will take a few hours to heat up, I was too tired to wait, I took a cold shower the first night. After that, never had a shortage of hot water, pressure also good. Only things missing from the kitchen were salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil, paper towels, garbage bags, and dish liquid. It's v-nice and spacious. loved it!
The master bedroom has a small balcony that is shared w/living room/main balcony. The balcony has a table w/chairs & BBQ area. The Queen/Dbl bed in the master bedroom is super firm, I would call it hard. My boyfriend who likes firm beds even felt it was hard, even the sofas were hard. The 2nd rm was spacious with two twin beds.
Plenty of drawer and closet space in both rooms with a safe box in the master closet. The large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub is in the middle of the two rooms, so if you have company, like we did, that would be their bathroom. The master bath is small with a small one person shower. I was really expecting the larger bath as our master bathroom, my boyfriend who loves Jacuzzi tubs was very disappointed.
Although we were only there a week, it would have been nice to have had one extra bath/beach towel. I was told beach towels were provided so I didn’t bring one, the “beach towels” were their bath towels as well. You have one large and two hand towels.
The apt. is about 5 min.from Lagos and about 3 min to Praia do Porto de Mos, would recommend to family and friends, safe, clean, like new and close to everything.Thanks Paul, Carol & Sylvester for a wonderful time, we will be back!
