The holiday home is situated in the well taken care of complex 'Port Bonaire Apartements (portbonaireapartments. com). It is a luxurious, spacious, 2 bedroom apartment for 4 persons with two bathrooms. Every room has air conditioning and a seperate TV. The kitchen is fully equipped. From the big porch you walk directly into the tropical garden and straight to the completly renovated pool. A few steps more and you can snorkel or dive on the reefsin the bleu azur sea. Comfortable deck chairs are available for the guests and owners. The apartment has cableTV (free) wi-fi internet (free), DVD player, hot water, fans and has recently upgraded leg. Sitting on the porch you can watch the majestic cruise ships dock and undock and marvel at the beautifull sunsets while sipping a cool drink. All the Attractions from Bonaire are only a short drive away from your apartment as there are: Washington Slagbaai National Park, Donkey Sanctuary, Donkey Beach, Sorobon beaches, white and red slave. Goto lake. Rincon the oldest settlement on Bonaire and 'Klein Bonaire'. The capital Kralendijk HAS an old fortress: build Fort Orange to defend the island. Fabulous Vacation on Bonaire

My husband and I went to Bonaire in March 2012. While there our daughter emailed us and said hey, I think we should do a family vacation to the Carribean. I looked at my husband and said this is the location to bring our kids and grandkids. (My husband and I try to go away alone to a different island every year.) Most of our family came which was 8 adults and 7 grandchildren, 6 and under and we rented three condos. This place was perfect. We knew from traveling the island in 2012 the best snokeling on the island was right in front of our condo. We walked through the gate to a fantastic beach. The kids could swim, but a few feet in was the reef. 5 of our grandchildren ages almost 3 and up snorkeled. We couldn't believe it! The pool was fantastic. And the location of the airport was really ideal. The planes didn't bother us at all. We only rented a pick up truck to go get groceries. One day we rented two other trucks to tour the island. The only other adventure we did was to go to Bonaire Klein. We used Good Returns. Besides that - we had all we needed right at our condo. Great pool, nice beach and fabulous snorkeling. We snorkeled both directions with the kids too. They all saw turtles! We went in January and it rained a bit more than I would have liked, but rain in the Carribean isn't like home. We saw lots of beautiful rainbows and a double rainbow. One morning I was out snorkeling and it started to rain, then the sun came out and I saw a rainbow end to end into the ocean. The location of this condo next to the pool is perfect. The nice large table on the porch was wonderful. The condo itself was - well all I can say is perfect! The owner responds to your emails quickly and is very helpful. If you can, I would rent this place. You will be very happy you did! I fell in love with Bonaire, but really it is the location of this condo that made our vacation a dream come true.

We stayed for 3 weeks at the Port Bonaire Resort. After leaving the arrivals at Flamingo Airport, it is just a two minute walk to the apartment. The hospitality of the owners is great.
The fridge was filled with a breakfast, and some beverages.
The apartment is situated at the seafront and a 20 min walk to Kralendijk city centre.. Nice swimming pool (with non chlorinated water) is placed at the seafront. Everything looked clean and well maintained. The administrator of the resort was very helpful with problems and questions.
Scuba diving and snorkelling trips are easily arranged at the dive centre on the property. The house reef (accessible via a 50 m swim) is a nice starter.
In short, a nice place to stay for a super relaxed holyday.

Great apartment

This is a great apartement for a very relaxing holiday. The views over klein bonaire and the sunset are beautiful. With a private garden and a nice patio it is a great place to relax. The apartment is spacious and very neat. The kitchen is fully furnished. The owner has arranged everything very well and has a local Adminstrator for all of your questions during the stay and knows a lot about the fun activities and nice areas of the island. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Best place ever

My wife and I live in upstate NY, USA. The winters are cold, and we are retired. So we run to the warm climates. We have been to Bonaire 12-15 times, have stayed at the hotets and rented houses and condos in the past. We travel extensively and have stayed many places. This residence is the best by far. The owners were quick to respond to our questions and we felt right at home dealing with them . They are friendly and trust worthy, with accurate answers to our questions. When we arrived we found the refrigator stocked with food for us. Their neighbors upstairs came down to greet us and see if we needed anything. Bob and Barbara were up stairs were another plus for this place. It is clean and the place was ready for us to live in. It is on the ground floor and has plenty of private parking. You walk out the back door to private deck to sit and eat or just spend relaxing time watching small boats go by. We are in our mid 60's and snorkel all the time in various .We have never stayed in a place like this where everthing you could want was right there. You walk out the back door and within 30 feet or so you are at the ocean there is a private enterance into the water. You swim across the inlet 200 feet or so into a water paradise filled with all sorts of fish. We saw four rays in one day alone. There were turtles in the water, eels and even a small octopus hiding near a rock for us to see. Than you realize that there are schools of fish all around us. We watched scuba people enter the water at the same enterance we used. We also saw small boats carrying scuba people anchor right near us ever day. They were coming from various dive shops to swim in our back yard. The house is immaculate,the furniture clean and new. You could not ask for a better place to stay. It is across from the airport, but Bonaire doesn't get much traffic so you are not bothered by it. The condo is everthing you could want in a vacation place. We highly recommend this place.
