Apartments with 2 and 3 rooms for 2-5 persons in the Tuscan country. Olive grove

To half road between Florence and Lucca the beautiful Farmhouse 'Tenuta Il Vallone' is immersed in a valley overlooking a typical hilly landscape. There are 3 ha of olive groves, recently planted (670 plants in 2001) with the traditional Tuscany varieties. They have already started to produce a fine extra virgin olive oil. The Farmhouse is immersed in a wide garden with olive trees, some big trees and secular oak trees bordering the swimming pool (6 x 12 mt). From the house you can see vineyards and olive trees, and old Medieval villages on the top of the hills. The nearest village is Monsummano Terme, which is about 4 km far from the Farmhouse, 7 km far from spa town Montecatini and 16 km far from Pistoia, the provincial chief town. We are centrally located for visiting cultural towns such as Pisa (60 km), Lucca (28 km), Florence (35 km) and Siena (98 km) and for enjoying country pursuits such as walking, mountain-bike riding and horse riding.

How to reach our Farmhouse: From Motorway A11 exit at Montecatini.

Then turn right to Monsummano and drive always straight on; you will pass a traffic light, then, at the second traffic light, turn right and follow the signs Montecatini Golf and Tenuta Il Vallone.

At a round median trip, drive keeping the left and follow always Golf. You will find the 3rd traffic light, always straight on and then right to a large way. On your right side you will see a petrol station ERG.

Always straight on until the 4th traffic light; here TURN LEFT and go always on this way.

At Pozzarello Village you see a sign of Tenuta Il Vallone and you have to drive left and then turn right and follow the sign Golf. Drive on this road for about 2km. You will see on your left a big wall belonging to a property.

DO NOT FOLLOW THE SIGN MONTECATINI GOLF, but go straight on for 100 mt. and then turn to the first road on the right. 300 meter and you reach your destination.

Advices for our guests: We don't have a 'full board' service at our Farmhouse but we have an agreement with the typical restaurants not far from us and they offer a discount to our guests.

There is a little Supermaket just at distance of 1 km open from 7.30 am till 8.00 pm. Bar and many other shops (newspaper, fashion, minimarket, ecc) are about 2 km far (at Pozzarello village).

A bigger supermarket (CONAD) is 3 km far and it is open till 8.00 pm on Saturdays and also on Sunday a.m.

There are lots of interesting and enjoyable things you can do when you stay at Tenuta Il Vallone.

The structure of the old Farmhouse has been maintained and Geranio apartment is now ready for people who desire staying relaxed feeling the contact with nature. Geranio apartment is completely autonomous, with Tuscan style furnishing and well equipped with the best facilities (heating, air conditioning, TV sat, fridge, microwave oven). The apartment Geranio (45 mq – ground floor) has: - 1 double room, - 1 sitting room with a kitchen corner and a sofa bed for 1 person, - 1 bathroom with shower. All the apartments face a large terrace protected by a large tent and sun umbrellas with furnished space for each family. You can also use the barbecue and our bikes too. If you like you can take your breakfast and dinner on the terrace.
